Ukraine has been working on ambitious education reforms for several years now. However, Ukrainian schools still need improvement. Many Ukrainians are used to thinking that, despite all the problems, Ukraine has a good higher and secondary education. However, as it turned out, this is only partially true. The results of the international PISA study show that Ukrainian students' academic achievements could be higher.
