Good question. I'd heard bhai mardana's lineage ended after 3rd generation. His grandson did not have any children. So IDK if what they are telling is the truth.

The puratan bandish thing seems a bit suspicious yeah, a lot of puratan bandishes still exist but are only know by namdharis and maybe some individuals e.g. Bhai Avtar Singh ji and Bhai Ghulam Muhammad Chand ji (due to their lineage). And why are they using vaajey as opposed to Sache Patshaah jis rabab? I

Even the name India was named by our enemies the "British" who divided our beautiful Punjabi culture to spread hate and divide us. Please edit your description. It does not say that these people are decentdents of Guru Nanaks best friend Mardana. It will show up in search results. Was these series ever prompted on TV? We definitely need to support these people. They have our utmost respect. Their family Lines are connected to Guru nanak dev ji's best friend Mardana. They traveled from all over India to Mecca to spread the word of equality. You need to promote these series on TV. It will be a great hit.
