Congrats on 50,000! I bet that coffee tasted awesome so close to the source. It looks so beautiful there in Panama. We just opened a jackfruit here in FL and made "sloppy jacks". So good! A tiny house would be awesome with a tropical garden. 😊 Awesome that you guys are also into Permaculture! Paul was certified many years ago with Geoff Lawton.

You know I’ve been waiting for that demo on how to make my panama coffee! I’ve been trying different things but I never prepped the filter before I started pouring so that’s a good one to know. About five years ago I started rapping Seaglass. I think it’s amazing that each piece of glass has such an amazing story to tell as it floats for decades. There’s an amazing artist named Yvonne Williams who wraps stones and minerals and her wrapping technique is kind of steam punk but very intense and amazing. She has really cool tutorials where you can follow along. Now I need to move to Panama and wrap Seaglass with you LOL. And drink coffee too of course! Lol. OK I got so jazzed about the first half of this video, I haven’t even seen the rest of it yet, LOL

Lovelies, your cooking is getting me soooooo hungry....what a paradise of interesting foods...the puppy dog is so cute. She is full of loving energy. Well, I am once again abashed and very excited for your enthusiastic acceptance of change. Sometimes it is not easy to experience culture shock but if processed very carefully it makes two very CONCIOUS humans bigger and better in their understanding of the world they try to love responsibly. Very proud of your direction. Can't wait to share your new journey saga. Keep your love and motivations pure and helpful. You will be two(actually four) amazing humans to talk to always. When I think of how your hearts and minds have focused on the bare essentials in marriage and healthy happiness, I am just always amazed, awed and inspired. In my dark moments where I wish to be looking at rainbows and flowers without concrete, I remember that I can go and watch videos of two Naturalists romping with a furry friend and sharing their joyfulness. Again, thank you....don't feel like you are on a warp....you are the " light" generation, doing the right things, for all the right reasons.

The seeds of jackfruit can be eaten like Chestnuts ie: Roasted or Boiled... More commonly eaten in Bangladesh, but good in Chinese style dishes.. Jackfruit is used like meat in various recipes Curries, Tacos..
@chrissonnenschein6634
@chrissonnenschein6634 4 жыл бұрын
The seeds are also being used to make REAL Chocolate. Not substitute, but yes real. Similar to why the flesh of Cacao is left to blett/ferment on the seeds.. the Jack fruit seeds use a ferment to age then dried. Like Vanilla, in the near future there will be a problem in supplying the global demand for quality ingredients due to disease, blight etc.

John Koepke well that’s not very nice to say. Even if they are “trust fund kids”, at least they are trying to make the world a better place by spreading the importance of living off the land sustainably, supporting each other in community, and spreading only love and kindness. I hope you find a little love in your heart too! 🙂

Hi Sam you can learn about how we make this lifestyle work here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKKlmGSMZdd_mNk I appreciate you standing up for us and looking at the positivity in what we do and putting ourselves out there on the Tube. 😊 We don't have to do this, but feel that the world needs more love and kindness, not people like @John Kopke who sit like cowards condemning others from behind their keyboards and make false judgements.

Hey Sam, we are still in the process of researching and learning about permaculture as we are just getting started. It's all new to us. OMG. You want to hear about little old me? It all started when my dad escaped Juvenile Hall in Massachusetts and brought my mom to California. They opened a go-go dancing club called Satan's Place and with Satan place money they sent me to a private school to get the education that they never got. It didn't work, it backfired on them. I became the first Paperboy that also did mechanical side jobs. My dad kidnapped me at gunpoint and took me to Mexico when my mom got tired of him. I spent 10 years doing his cocaine and Other Drugs all the while getting more dangerous on the job and getting better and better at those side jobs. When I give you my list of injuries you have to remember I'm the Survivor by adapting well and a lot of injuries have made me the safe calm cool and collected person Everywhere I Go. I've broken both my ankles, hit my right knee with a skill saw, blew out my left knee and I have three ruptured discs in my lower back and my tailbone. Well on the bicycle a guy did a hit-and-run blew out my left should and then on the same bicycle I sent it and blew out my own right shoulder. I wasn't done Reinventing myself for the 20th time when I was rear-ended by a 19 year old texting and driving at 70 miles an hour. A neck injury didn't stop me like you think it might, I spent 12 years rehabbing doing doing small jobs all around the country getting better and better with new muscle control that I've never had before. 5 careers and 27 good jobs but not wasted time at all. I know what not to do without even opening my eyes. Everywhere I Go people are jealous about how smart I am. My specialty is maintenance an old machines. I drove a Model T, fixed the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier when nobody else could figure it out, it was built in 29! My favorite thing was lava rock retainer walls with Tongans and plaster work with Samoans and coconut tree trimming with Hawaiians. I'm disabled with no disability income and in my opinion there's nobody as happy and healthy as somebody like that,
