This is an excellent video! I am a 5th-grade teacher who uses the controversy of Sasquatch's existence to teach critical thinking skills. It is easy to find videos that support Sasquatch's existence, but it is hard to find credible videos that present evidence against it. This is one of those videos I will use in my class. Thank you! And if you know of other such videos, please let me know! I have also ordered the Bigfoot Doesn't Exist book for my classroom library.

A good exercise in critical thinking would be to present the evidence and arguments from experts, and let them make up their own mind. Remind them that believing in something without sufficient evidence is irrational. Remind them also that dismissing the possibility out of hand because they don't believe in Bigfoot is also irrational. This video is full of people purportedly explaining why people believe, but what they're really doing is trying to rationalize why they don't believe. Copernicus had the good sense to keep his mouth shut around people like this.

In response to the 5-th grade teacher; I would like to share my 5-th grade and 6-th grade reading skills class. I lived in Clackamas Oregon at that time. I am 80 years old now, but I still remember how much my classmates and I enjoyed reading out of our “Weekly Reader” a little newspaper geared toward children’s interests that was delivered to our class. Our teacher had us go around the room and take turns reading. One topic we could always count on being in our “Weekly Reader” was the wear-a-bouts of Big Foot. We always hoped it would be our turn to read the Big Foot news. He could have been spotted by the loggers near the Rogue River, Oregon or maybe he had broken into an Indiana Trading Post in the Olympic Peninsula in Washington and plaster Paris foot prints were obtained. Big Foot was as real to my classmates and I as our own family members. I am old now and it’s been many many years since I was in 5-th grade, but i still hold that memory in my heart and I still believe in Big Foot.

I had a game warden come plaster the tracks and other men arrived. The game warden was who told my father yrs later about the farmer and family that saw the thing miles apart farther north that day. The only way to prove through DNA is to have an accredited lab verify the DNA as Sasquatch. But when DNA is submitted to those labs and they can’t match it to any known creature they label it as unknown or contaminated. Why? Because any lab that publicly states “This is Sasquatch DNA” will immediately lose all credibility which means their business is about to go bankrupt. No accredited lab will ever come forward with Bigfoot DNA because of how they think it will look to the rest of the scientific community. So it’s always unknown or contaminated. Even when different samples that have been labeled unknown have been sent to other labs and have come back with the same exact DNA identifiers, meaning there’s nothing wrong with the DNA itself. “Unknown” is just another way of saying Bigfoot without losing credibility.

Roger Patterson's interest in the subject is completely irrelevant to the fact he caught it on film. Who in the world do you think would have a greater chance of catching one on film? Someone who is deeply interested and invested in the subject and is out ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR THE CREATURE, or someone who has no interest and isn't? You skeptics are phenomenal...phenomenally two-faced, hypocrites. You ask us, the ones who actually have an interest in the subject and are actually out there investigating, for video evidence and then when we provide it you claim we hoaxed it because we have a prior interest. I was not impressed with this documentary. It is severely ill-informed, very poorly researched and spits on the hard-earned very reliable evidence we do have. I feel like this was trying to be controversial for being controverial's sake. If you actually want to learn about the Bigfoot subject I'd suggest ThinkerThunker, Mountain Beast Mysteries, Dr. Jeff Meldrum's works, Les Stroud's Survivorman: Bigfoot or Sasquatch Chronicles. Not this lazy amrchair half-researched crap.

John chambers publicly said he had nothing to do with the Patterson film but let the the rumors spread because it was good for business he also said if it was a suit it was the best he has ever seen and the only way they could have done it would be to glue the hair directly to the skin. It really doesn’t take a rocket scientist to be able to actually see muscle structure and individual muscle movement. This whole video is extremely one sided and they are leaving a lot out. I’m Not Saying it’s a guy in a suit or not but when you really look into it it’s harder to believe it’s a suit. Also people keep saying the video is low quality but it’s actually not. Most people see low quality versions because of how many times it’s been copied. MK Davis is some extremely clear stills taken from negatives of film that are so clear You can see individual hairs and eyelash’s on the face and even the structure of the eye.

As far as physical evidence goes, I’m sure there’s more than enough circumstantial evidence, but I will say I have heard things in the woods That is not normal. You can tell the difference between the grunts and a roar of an animal that is native to the forest. And what I heard was pretty damn scary , because nobody can explain those sounds to me, scientifically speaking you kids because in the record book these animals are there. They don’t exist in the eyes of science when your hear screams that are deeper and louder than a lion and a bear combined together with vibration being felt under your feet whatever was making that noise was maybe 100 yards away. Or less what can send powerful physical vocal vibrations from that far the sound of a lion and a bear mixed with grunts and snarls of a gorilla I can’t explain that to you but we spent 3 days dirt biking Through quiet and secluded forest areas 7 miles away from the closets campsite or road those screens followed us for the entire three days at random times during the day and night deep in Michigan forest land we did not see or hear no other humans on our three day trip my buddy recorded 24 minutes worth of audio only , the deep loud echo of the roars is something to experience, but people will say it’s fake and tampered with which is not the case alot of people lie and fabricate but I’m telling the truth of what we felt and experienced for 3 nights in a row it’s compelling alot of people lie but some of us have actually felt and sensed and lived to see the phenomenon of what this thing is , it’s scary stuff and it’s really crazy to me

@@Thorrson7 you make some pretty outrageous claims. How do you know this? What is your evidence? I hear these claims and am reminded of this passage from Carl Sagans “Demon Haunted World” "A fire-breathing dragon lives in my garage" Suppose (I'm following a group therapy approach by the psychologist Richard Franklin[6]) I seriously make such an assertion to you. Surely you'd want to check it out, see for yourself. There have been innumerable stories of dragons over the centuries, but no real evidence. What an opportunity! "Show me," you say. I lead you to my garage. You look inside and see a ladder, empty paint cans, an old tricycle - but no dragon. "Where's the dragon?" you ask. "Oh, she's right here," I reply, waving vaguely. "I neglected to mention that she's an invisible dragon." You propose spreading flour on the floor of the garage to capture the dragon's footprints. "Good idea," I say, "but this dragon floats in the air." Then you'll use an infrared sensor to detect the invisible fire. "Good idea, but the invisible fire is also heatless." You'll spray-paint the dragon and make her visible. "Good idea, but she's an incorporeal dragon and the paint won't stick." And so on. I counter every physical test you propose with a special explanation of why it won't work. Now, what's the difference between an invisible, incorporeal, floating dragon who spits heatless fire and no dragon at all? If there's no way to disprove my contention, no conceivable experiment that would count against it, what does it mean to say that my dragon exists? Your inability to invalidate my hypothesis is not at all the same thing as proving it true. Claims that cannot be tested, assertions immune to disproof are veridically worthless, whatever value they may have in inspiring us or in exciting our sense of wonder. What I'm asking you to do comes down to believing, in the absence of evidence, on my say-so.
