Thanks boys for bringing some perspective back to the situation 👏

Almost nothing Wrexham-related gets me more bent out of shape than "Parky ceiling" comments, and I agree with the panel's thoughts. Such comments are incredibly disrespectful. Do any of the naysayer sofa warriors have four promotions, record-breaking points, etc.? Are they talking about Sunderland? The place where he got five whole months in charge before Covid hit? The toxic place and time highlighted in the Netflix documentary, just before his arrival? Out-to-lunch owners, managers dropping like flies, etc. That's not Wrexham. Phil has steady, supportive owners who have allowed him to build a team. Phil is an incredibly hard worker, and he knows a tremendous amount. He is also a student of the game. My money is on Phil to succeed in this league and beyond.

Mark hit the nail on the head! Great points made all-around; we need to stop being ridged and playing hoofball, we need to change formation.

People keep banging on about 'form' and 'stats' but the bottom line is it's the manner of the away performances and the lack of ideas and fixation on a certain style of play that are mostly concerning.

@Andy. What do you mean Hayden doesn't want a new deal?

Defense sucks, Tozer is waaaay too slow and slowing down even more. Passing in midfield is not great either. They should have targeted those positions during the transfer league. Parki needs to change tactics once in a while, teams have them figured out. I do still believe in direct promotion. Up the town!

Some fans need a serious reality check. Honestly ffs we haven’t the Devine right to win everything cannot always get it right ,other teams view us as there cup final . The team to beat. I’ve seen some shite in my time seriously but I still get behind whoever is playing and managing.

A team of our quality should be able to string a few passes together no matter the opposition.

I think you must not have watched the last 10 matches bc our wins and losses have shown that we have gotten into a pattern of jumping the gun when we're pressed high up the pitch and then we dump some long shot long ball down the pitch that gets immediately stolen and that happens over and over keeping us on defence the whole match. When we have been able to overcome this and when it's been down to a few lucky breaks by some great players but it's a pattern that we can't seem to break and is very worrying bc if it keeps up we are going to start dropping like a rock in the standings.

Dudes have a podcast about Wrexham and today talk about the away form mostly… and they keep saying: I haven’t watch any of the away games, or I haven’t watch most of these games 🤦🏽♀️

Get what you mean, I really do. But I've only missed 6 aways this season and Rhys and Liam have been to some (or watched them on a stream). We asked Mark Creighton on because he he played nearly 100 times for us, lives in the area and can give us a professional view. Think his insight adds something to it as we're not ex-pros. He doesn't need to see a game to know how a pro would think in that situation

Rudimentary mistakes by an overated rookie keeper and a defence that can't defend. The away fans make it like a home game.Phil should hire a defence coach or get them to a boot camp.

Soft tissue issues are the lack of training facilities. That’s more important than the Kop. We are signing high end players without the support needed to keep them healthy. Go buy a Ferrari and get it worked on by a local garage? Insanity. We need to be feeding out of the back through evans and Bolton. We have to keep the ball on the floor. We have the skilled players to do it. These last 3 games have been humbling. I can guarantee you that Parky will be like stink on shit this week. Think your big time, bleep drills cleans that’s it. We’ve got the best 11 in L2. Also guys, those first 2 goals are 100% on Arthur. This has nothing to do with formation. Newcastle plays a 532, as so many L1 and championship clubs.Its not parky. It’s all on the players.

Ain’t they training at Colliers park?!?
@davidmiddleton647911 ай бұрын
There or the rock or the race course. We don’t own a training ground

All they need to do…is actually pass the ball to their team mates…instead of lumping the ball up the pitch in to no man’s land….that would help…🙄

Home form has not been “peerless” for some time. Let’s get real. Entire halves with next to no chances. Got away with it so far but further home defeats are coming. Said this repeatedly in the comments but no-one picks up on it. We have no ball winner in midfield. Lee’s early season goals hid the fact he’s chasing shadows in this league. A couple of genuinely good performances but most of his goals hid games where he did nothing. There’s all this talk about us being pressed. That’s also nonsense. Watch the number of times Lee and Evans take a touch and turn instead of playing simple early passes. There’s no time in this division to do that. Of course they’re closed down. They make it easy. Cannon has been decent going forward but can’t make a defensive tackle to save his life. If none of your 3 midfielders can win the ball why would it be a surprise when we now don’t have the ball for long periods? Add in that the Beast makes a sensible point about the back 5 not being the same from week to week. Hardly a surprise Arthur now looks shaky. How does he know what his back 3 are going to do? There’s lots of talk about how Young isn’t up to L2 standard. He’s been no worse than Tozer this season but apparently Evans is vastly superior. On the ball he may be but he’s the defensive mid. He’s not winning anything there. Then add in my weekly point that McClean is fit as a butchers dog but takes us backwards and sideways so we have next to no left sided attack. The constant hoofing from the back (and I include O’Connor in that because he does do exactly that) means we bypass midfield and our wing backs have given up timing runs from the centre line because they’re not going to get the ball. Can’t agree re: O’Connor. He’s nice on the ball in the opposite half but this season he’s been repeatedly caught on the ball - Bradford away, Accrington away and so on - and with McClean chasing back far too late he’s been repeatedly exposed. We on;y looked better when Max came in because he’s not a hoof in him. Brings the ball over halfway like Hayden used to do. Plays a wing back or striker in on the floor and where they want the ball. Very easy to welcome Hayden back but let’s just remember how poor he’d been before he was injured. Constantly exposed and playing like Bambi. Tunni has delivered at this level. Aaron has not. So, if we want more points we need a midfield with 1 or 2 ball winners in it. We need the back 5 to be injury free and then we need to get the ball down and play. We have control over 2 of those 3. Time to exercise that control. The Parky stuff is nonsense on most levels. Yes of course he’s rigid. Can you name a manager that isn’t? That’s actually why he is successful. The formation isn’t and never has been the issue. It’s who you pick and what they do. His limit is almost certainly the Championship. Sadly though at the moment he can’t see the wood for the trees. Can’t see any reason why we would win against Bradford. Let’s come back in a month. I suspect the denial about what’s wrong will have stopped after a few more defeats. Yes we are high up but the trajectory is currently downward with little insight into why.
