Dr Drew, with all respect, your definition of endometriosis is incorrect. Endometriosis is the presence of tissue SIMILAR to the endometrial lining that grows in the uterus. However it’s a common misconception that it is the same as the endometrial lining. It has been found to grow every place in the body, not just the pelvic region although that is the most common area. In bad cases it’s even been found in the lungs or brain. If you misspoke, I apologize for correcting you. Endometriosis is my life’s battle and it’s hard for doctors to sometimes keep educated on this horrible, life ruining, misunderstood, incurable, and little researched disease despite it being in 1 in 10 women. Please if you ever would like to learn more reach out to me. It would be incredible if you ever raised awareness about this disease. those that have it are constantly ignored, told it’s in their head, or just get birth control pushed on them. Misinformation has been consistently spread and even major information sources online define it incorrectly. If I prayed, I’d pray people and doctors would learn more about this. I don’t think people understand how debilitating it is, if they’ve even heard of it. Have loved your shows since the early Loveline days!

To the endo sister: my guy it took me 5 years to get a hysterectomy where they found submucosal fibroids growing on a nerve causing the exact same thing you have. Eventually it happens outside of feeling aroused and will come with stress, bowel movements, any core stress. I feel so much for you when it comes to this and it's a problem that no one can understand until they're in that space. If you don't want biological children, I would recommend looking into a hysterectomy because life after the pain is so much better. Get an MRI. They need to make sure
