I’m a fairly new subby. I scrolled back to find out who you are and where you started on yt. I generally do that to guard myself from foolishness. Also, I watched a few of your recent videos and I was like wait a minute she knows the Lord. Yay!!! Amen. How is she so blessed to have a hubby house n Mercedes? What kind of job does she have? And I watched this video. And now I know. You put God first. “Seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and all these other things shall be added unto thee.” Please pray for me and other Believers sister that I we too will seek God first and not put a relationship, things or finances before Him. I am so honored to have witnessed your journey from this video to the most current transformation of blessings and goodness he has done in you and Jerards life that is still unfolding. This is complete encouragement for me as it relates to my journey because I have been single for about seven years and it has been quite the challenge it an interesting journey but your advice here is exactly the reinforcement that was needed to help me stay the course. My mantra has been in God's timing and it will be worth the wait but can not over look the self reflective work that I need to partake in to be ready when it does happen. This video literally brought tears to my eyes. I just turned 30 and I have been single f or two years. To be honest these two years have been the best. I felt free and everything you talked about in your video. I related with everything you said and oh yes I love watching my movies and laughing all by myself. I just love it. God has done some amazing things in my life, never thought I could survive without a relationship because that was where I thought I got my validation. I was so wrong. God loves me so much He keeps growing and giving me wisdom everyday of my life. I could go on and on Mary. God writes the best love stories, and it was written long before I was born! Thanks for this reminder....I'm 28, and just got single after spending the last 10 years in a relationship with one person...I was so close to walking down the aisle but there was no peace deep down regarding this fellow as we were unequally yoked. I kept telling myself it was my duty to get him to get serious with God, until I got to the point where every single sign pointed me to letting go and letting God have his way. It was a real blessing to hear someone in my age bracket open up on what it feels like being single especially when your reason for being single has to do with the desire to please God and to not settle....Forgive my long comment :) I'm a follower on instagram and live in Ghana. thought it nice to let you know someone from across the atlantic was blessed by this video.

I believe that when we connect ourselves with someone that we know is not equally yoked or that we feel is not meant for us, we ultimately deprived yourself of truly receiving God's absolute best. God definitely honors your decision and your strength not to settle. Settling is easy, the hard decision is to choose better for ourselves. I really appreciate your comment!! Thanks so much for sharing. It was nice to have confirmation in this season that I am going through. I feel like Esther, soaking in the oils in preparation for my king. I've been single for almost a year now. God in his sovereignty ended a 3+ year relationship I had with a young man that I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with. I ignored God's signs to separate for long enough and then God stepped in and made it so clear that he wasn't the one, even down to numbing my feelings towards that person. Right now I am drawing closer and closer to God, more active in my church than ever before and I'm about to graduate with my BS in a couple weeks. God is so good and I am truly becoming more and more secure with loving on God and myself.

Great Vid~ The Lord is soooooo AMAZING!!! I was just having this conversation with the Lord the other day...I feel like we were all up in each others conversations...hehehe~ I've had my moments, 33yr old virgin, never been on a real date (just realized that the other day) or shared an intimate kiss, but have a desire to be married. I love LOVE and believe that the Lord has His best for me. My desire is to be the best for him! His timing is perfect even in our waiting moments. Learning and knowing who I am has been a very beautiful journey and I wouldn't change anything about it. I thank God for your honesty and that you would take the time to share this with the world. You literally almost made me cry.. Reading your story is amazing!!! I commend and also admire women like you! I definitely believe that the day that you are united with the person God has for you it will be so powerful!! I was actually going back and forth with the idea of not having any type of physical interaction with my mate prior to marriage after seeing a couple on I think it was 60 mins, and also after watching a message by Pastor R. A. Vernon about relationships. I will see if I can locate the link for you so that you can watch (; He talked about how the couple abstained from those types of things, so their first kiss was actually on their wedding day. He said the power of God fell so mightily it was undeniable! I thought wow!! What an impact that must have had on their union. So you keep hanging in there!! God has something so special in store for you!! I truly believe that!

Thank you for this video. I feel like I've been single all my life. Cos honestly there is not one man I have met that I've felt in my heart were the one. Sometimes the wait is cruel and I had taken matters into my own hands. Meaning online dating and just starting relations I knew I didn't want. Thank you for sharing. This really hit home, I understand what you went through as a younger child. I am currently 20 years old and went through the same thing with my sister. People would make jokes like you get two friends in one. She is a year older than me, and is very out going and I usually get lost in the mix. I have very shy tendecies .I am ususally getting compared to her and as we are growing up we are somewhat stearing apart . I love God and enjoy discussing His word with others, but I think I need to pray about Him helping me out of my shell. I want Him to use me and I think me coming out of my shell will help with that. Also I'm leaving my love life in God's hands and want Him to write my love story and I am also saving myself , for my husband. Your story is really encouraging and I thank God for usuing you and allowing your life to minister to other people who are also going through the same process. Thank you for sharing your story.

Wow!! That is so awesome!! Let me just start by saying that you are an amazing young woman!! What you are doing is commendable and indicates just how strong you are! God wants to give you your hearts desire! He may just be waiting for you to ask.. I have come to believe that many of the blessings we want are held up all because of a closed mouth. God says ask and you shall receive. I literally used to take that scripture lightly. When you have faith to believe and ask God.. You release what you may not have otherwise received.. God will give you the desires of your heart. Just as he did for me! Just ask him and believe it will happen.. Your faith is what will change everything! He WILL do it for you! I believe that!

Amazing video! I never knew their was a "title" to this journey I've been on for 3yrs in January.. One day everything you just stated came to me and I been steadfast every since! God is so good! I started off knowing that I didn't want nothing to do with the type of guys I was attracting but had know idea what I truly wanted in a mate. Hey Mary this morning I woke up to look at your channel on protective hair styles with the cuban twist. I don't know what it was that said keep scrolling but I came upon this channel on singleness.. everything you mentioned I this channel just touch me.. I have never been in a serious real relationship, I have had things happen to me in my pass that was not so great, every guy I talked to moved me away from God, I been hurt cheated on, called out of my name, I been used, lied to and out of all that I still managed to smile, myself esteem has been lowered and I don't know why I still find myself meeting the same guys... Thank you sister for putting this up I am going to take your advice and walk on this journey with God .. I am lost and I need to find myself... p.s. I am 26 going on 27 this summer and I just feel like why me but I know on this journey GOD is going to show me and answer all my question. He always save the best for last

Hi Mary! I have been following you for about a couple of years now.And i wish I had found your channel sooner.I am in my single season and a lot of the time I am not content.Sometimes I think something is wrong with me because of the imperfections that I do have.I strive to have the relationship with THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in a similar manner, where I am bold, confident, know who and whose I am and nobody can tell me different.Yet i struggle with that and I struggle with purity.I have technically been single for 12 years, without any situationships about 4/5 yrs.And the guys who do take the time to "see" me, meaning look past the exterior be the wrong ones.I try to find confidence in my appearance but sometimes it is ruined when people talk about me, call me ugly because for all i know it could be because im dark,im literally brown though like a crayon.am i a lil funny looking, yeah but i dont think im just ugly as people make me out to be.but because of the constant criticism throughout i have developed a social anxiety and fear and hardly go out.I want to break free from this

Because l know lm blessed,l know because his angels told me that he knows the numbers of hair which is on my head,so how can l not love that?God has blessed me with the most humble and most gracious son anyone could ask for. My angel again said to me that my son is here to show God's greatness.God has chosen me to be the parent of a child with a disability and l love it everyday with no regrets,ever. Remember the story of Peter he was wating on God. God will send you your husband but you keep saying no no no you doing the same thing Peter did ask God for a bleesing but when he sends it you reject it you said it you getting older and desperate. I accept what God gives me I never turn my back on blessings period.
