Interesting! Just get on and do it! Life is short. Don’t listen to other people’s opinion. Everyone’s path in life is unique and no one else can live it for you. However will France fit the bill for you? I’ve lived in Italy, Spain and Netherlands but have chosen France as my final move, hopefully, but I’m not quite there yet! You sound like an anywhere person rather than a somewhere person who is firmly rooted. There’s quite a lot of us around! Life’s a risk but much more fun!
