The best explanation. My level got send 5 times. 3 times with feature. It was so long ago that mods won’t send my level anymore. Because 1. it looks outdated (no shit it was made in 2.1) 2. most mods already saw it, other ones have no rq server or I never get a chance in the livestreams) and 3. Rob just won’t see it. As it’s on the 300th page rn. If u don’t get a rate on the 1st one. It’s over for u.

@@Salzt It took me 8 sends over the course of nine months to get my first rate, and I definitely feel what you've been through. RobTop's main sent filter also sorts by only feature sends or higher, so while you don't necessarily run out of chances, you do have to be obscenely lucky with the send type and timing. It sucks.

I think this logic is a bit flawed, because it suggests that RobTop almost never rates unknown masterpieces. That isn't necessarily true, and while I do wish he would consider featuring unknown creators more often, he does have valid reasons for rating what he does. For instance, he rates more from popular creators because he's been conditioned to trust their work - recurring (eventually "popular") creators often imply that RobTop's grown to like and trust their levels more often in qualifying for a rate. In contrast, he has zero impression of unknown or unpopular creators, so while he might see your level in his rating lists, it's far less likely that he'll consider, play, or rate it. Unfortunately with all that yapping aside, most levels just simply fly under his radar - no matter who made them. A level getting rated often pertains to uncontrollable factors: i.e. what time it was sent; what it was sent for; and what filters RobTop was using at the time. There've been probably 70,000 levels sent by Mods in GD's history, and over 20,000 of those were sadly forgotten and unrated to this day. :(

To me, Im thinking the same thing. I made a level called Blit Coin, and very few people played it. It only has 3 likes, and Robtop has not noticed it. The rating system is not working properly, and poorly.
