Why Aren't We All Doing This?! Custom Solar Paste/Stencil Paste!

In this video I create some custom ‪@simon.hurley‬ Solar Paste with reinkers. Definitely play around with your stencil pastes more! It's ok if it gets messy! I think many of my Christmas cards will have custom red and green Solar Paste!
Stay tuned for part 2, I'll make some stencilled backgrounds and a VERY shiny card!

Ooh; that Game Over/Golden Hour is an especially cool combo. The Shady one almost has kind of a bronze look to it.

I added prom queen to white texture paste. It dulled it down a tad but, still shimmery.

I will have to give that a try! I have so many pastes, but solar paste has been moved to the front of my drawer for easiest access!

Actually I love it on the black cardstock. Fun colors!!

In the video that posts today (Testing out Sizzix stencil and stamp tool) I mix beluga solar paste with water for a subtle splatter on an inked background, but it is so bold and wild on black cardstock! Thanks for the comment... I hope you check it out!

Those are so pretty! I love how the gold still shows through a bit. It reminds me of chameleon pigments. I do not own any solar pastes although I do own a texture Paste from Ranger, it's just plain white so I wouldn't get any of the cool color shift you have managed to get.

See if you have any mica powders in your stash… add some ink… play around!

@@makermoose oh that's a fantastic idea! I have quite a few mica powders in my stash. I haven't even thought of using them for paper crafts.

There is something to be said about playing with paste😂. I don’t do it nearly enough but I do find it satisfying 😅
