My opinion is that the army attending the event should not change the color of the lightstick, but it is also not polite to make a black ocean towards the two other artists, who are not guilty, as JK rightly wrote. I think this would make J-Hope very embarrassed in front of his two colleagues, with whom he certainly has excellent relations, and with whom he will probably make the round trip (as happened in the past to V with Lisa and Park Bogum). Since supposedly 80% of the audience will be army, I think they can also show appreciation to Rosè and GDragon with our purple lightsticks. When did BTS receive a black ocean? Back in 2009 Michael Jackson sold out all his 50 dates on his arena tour in hours, I think back then they said they sold at 40.000 tickets an hour when general sales opened. (After presales) Sure its always sad if you don’t get a ticket to a show you really wanted to go to, but when most if not all interested are competing on equal terms, your lack of willingness to sit ready to go when tickets release doesn’t speak to other fans’ “evil-ness” or the artist they support. If you think you could go home from work later and buy when others sat ready at work as they opened sales, that’s on you. Plus looking at how rarely many of these artists visit Europe (bc they focus on US when their chance is open, and the US being as big they often don’t do Europe on top of the US) it wasn’t surprising that fans jumped at seeing their Idol. Isn’t it basic fan culture?

I don’t think ARMY should leave after because it’s gonna make us look bad. The seats sold out so fast and once ppl find out it’s by ARMY that only stayed to watch Jhope then it’s gonna be a whole ass hate train. Besides, why not stay and enjoy the rest of the performances to get your money’s worth? It would be more fair to all artists this way, and I’m sure that’s what Jhope will want.

It’s not the decision of anybody but the people who bought the tickets but it would look bad to do anything other than stay and enjoy the rest of the night, assuming a whole stadium of army would do that, which I don’t think they would.

@ It was reported and then supported with video of known “Bunnies” guarding the wreaths until some ARMYs showed up to block them from view. The ARMYs confronted them and they left. There was an older adult male “Bunny” involved as well. Remember the photographer who made the fuss out of not being allowed to post some of NJs pics claiming they were asked to take them all down? He is a friend of MHJ. Many of the negative comments about Suga were traced back to bot accounts set up by the publicity company contracted with MHJ.

I love K-pop in general. I guess that doesn't make me a good fan f or individual groups. I do not have one group favorite, i do admit i love BTS music, but I also have NCT, TVXQ, BlackPink, Shinwee, Super Junior. But what still surprises and confuses me is this war of the haters, Korea (not sure what is going on there), and companies dropping BTS like a hot potato if just one whisper of possible bad news, just to make their fans hate them. two sides of a coin: one side: BTS pushed themselves beyond limits (the physical, and emotional pain. no privacy). But fans supported and fought for them. The other side of the coin (2 examples) is the actress Zhou Lusi (who is trying to recover) and Suga, who they wanted to shame and hide something so trivial to make it bigger than what it was.. All of them do what they love, but they also need protection from Haters, and companies that would harm them. I wish we could say this will finally stop, but we know it will not: So fans of artist, and actors. Don't stop supporting them.

I don't think think this post was necessary; there are going to be multi stans there so people are going to do what they want and change their lights to support who they want. BTS members have been known to support these other artist and do not advocate for hate of any kind. We do not have to sink low because parts of a fandom are toxic. We can keep it purple but for those who are supporting multiple they are free to do what they want, and they shouldn't be guilted either.

Why does urging Army to stay purple translate into hate towards others? I think the video is just reminding trusting Army to stay on alert and not fall for any tricks. The video is not trying to force anyone. I am not attending that concert and I was not aware of this light stick color controversy, but if I were attending, I would keep it purple anyway but also be grateful for the reminder

I thoroughly support staying purple but those that want to change colors who are multis shouldn't feel bad. I was totally unaware of the vogue mess, but as you should know a well meaning post can go bad fast and turn into something unintended. We can be fierce in our support but we should always remember that they dont want us to change having grace and being kind they talk about it alot in the last four years how the fandom has changed and it's not a compliment.
