I'd play Martinelli on the left. Havertz up top. Sterling on the right. Saka in the 10. Jorginho and Partey double pivot. White, Gabriel, Saliba and Timber. Raya. COYG

I like the idea but prefer Sterling on the leftt, Martinelli up front, Saka on the right and Havertz at 10. We want our fastest players up front to break the high line and with Havertz in midfield, he can help Partey and Jorginho/Timber cover in defence

@@okellemma9561 yes I agree, if we play our usual style. But we will probably play how we did last year at their gaff. Less possession, sitting back and counter attacking football. I think those two would be perfect for that style of play.

Sterling is weak defensively, he is a poor tackler. He has to play on the left wing, Saka on the right, and Jesus or Havertz as striker. My lineup would be 4-2-3-1 with White, Saluba, Gabby, and Timber in defence. Partey and Jorginho, Saka, Jesus,, and Sterling, with Harverts upfront. I would have Gavertz and Jesus alternating positions.

I'd go for Martinelli, Stirling and Saka as the front three and drop Havertz into midfield. The pace of those three will push that highline Spurs like to have back. #COYGsince66

I’m glad you’re confident, I’m not…..::::::we were playing proper crap before the injuries, now I’m struggling to see how our depleted midfield can deal with the pace of bissouma and sarr as we have all the legs of Douglas Badar in there with Partey and Jorginho. Personally I would play the Ukrainian Bart Simpson in the double pivot with Partey as he does it for his country and has slightly more mobility than Jorginho who runs slower than I can walk!!! I don’t see anything other than us getting fists up at the lane to be honest. Only chance we have is in quick transition and go super direct. I would play sterling left, saka right and martinelli through the middle so we have pace across the front three. Van der ven may be the quickest player in the prem but even he won’t fancy his chances of catching martinelli if he gets a start on him and this is the only way to sow doubt in the minds of the Spuds. Their high line and press is fine when there isn’t any pace up top but we have all seen them come undone the minute there is some pace to worry about . They won’t leave martinelli one on one for sure which gives us an advantage out of possession by having a spare man. I would drop Havertz but arteta won’t I’m sure. If we play the sideways and backwards slow transition of the first three games we are getting pumped make no mistake.

I'm just visualising a double pivot of Jorghino and Partey with Havertz as Odegaard replacement it might work.... This will allow Martinelli, Someone and Saka For me that someone needs to be either Jesus or Sterling Jesus and Havertz will interchange nicely Sterling and Trossard can come off the bench for this one... Sterling for Jesus and Trossard for Martinelli And Oh Calafiori can come off the bench too...
