I think advertising and media is partially at fault. When you think of an attractive white guy it's a very simple look like tall, plain white tee, flannel shirt, could have multiple hairstyles. One could argue that dating apps aren't a 1:1 reflection of mating patterns, but that's become an increasingly difficult position to hold when people meeting online is so normalized now. If you happen to occupy one of the less desirable groups, you'll be at a marked disadvantage from the jump. Asian women will essentially have all the leverage since they're inundated with options. Most people are willing to grant you the benefit of the doubt during an in-person interaction compared to swiping on a phone because there's a human element that doesn't exist in photos. When someone is forced to evaluate prospective mates based purely off of superficial attributes, it's hard to be surprised at the outcome that these constraints lead to.

I am not as successful as people assume I'd be on dating apps nor in real life. I am not a nerdy looking dork, I am quite stylish and have a stable well-paid job. It's just a massive myth we gather all the men. Most men stick to their own kind. I've never been approached by other race men except my own Asian fellows. Exception was when I went to Scandinavia, local men been behaved really weird around me and "circling" around me, but I didn't respond. Also very rarely Latino men. That's it. I’m going to be brutally honest here, but I don’t mean to offend anybody. Those statistics from dating apps are not accurate to what specific countries consider to be an ideal women because they gather data globally. If we’re specifically talking about the American standard, then a women with thick hips, sun tanned skin, long legs and a plump bouncy butt is what’s considered to be the most ideal. Asian women (especially East Asian) are the least likely to have a body with physical features like that. In general Asian women are short, tiny and use skin whitening, which completely conflicts with what Americans like. Some Americans might prefer an Asian because they are stereotyped to be submissive and never say “no”, but in America, white women, black women, and Latino women have a huge advantage over asian women for attracting men just going from genetics alone.

However, for some reason Black-Filipinas genetics make attractive offsprings. Blasians on average are better looking than White/Asian mixed individuals. That's an opinion, though many would agree as true. You should try west/central Asian women; Azerbaijani, Kazakhstanis, Iranians, they have the appeal and aren't socially or religiously inclined, especially the Christians and the Buddhists. There’s a prejudice against darker skinned Asians in Asia so most of us always avoid the sun to keep ourselves as pale as possible and many of us apply sunscreen (either home remedies or bought from store) from young. Such practice actually helps our skin age slower than westerners who love exposing themselves to the sun from young and it started showing very significantly in our 30s and 40s.

It's good that there are white men who are not racist and are open to women of other races. However, I as a black man have no attraction to asian women. I think it's the cultural difference. I like Spanish, black, and Indian women. American and East Indian. I dont like Russian, German, and French white women either. I find Irish, Italian,Greek, and ostralian women to be okay.

I’m up in western Canada and I’ll usually see Asian women with the nerdy bros too. Most of those guys are tall though so that probably makes a big difference. Being single gives you time to focus on yourself. Thats what I’m doing! (Plus I get to spend more time with my nieces, nephews and godchildren!)
