Any art can be mastered and turned into dharma with the application of boddhicitta. From experience, tarot can be a great way to get people to connect and share dharma in a way that they otherwise wouldn’t. It’s an invitation intimacy, to share your life with the reader, and (with a reader with bodhicitta motivation) to receive dharma.

I used to practice tarot and Voodoo, this was in may of 2020 when I really started getting into it. I was a ashamed because I am a Buddhist but for the most part I was really skeptic about any forms of spirits. I really wanted to know if these things existed. The next month in June my house catches on fire my dog had died in the fire along with it. The fire had started in my room from a light bulb and destroyed everything even my shrine infact it started right below my shrine and nobody will understand how horrible I feel. A month later my brother was shot In both his legs at a party he is very very lucky to still walk now he made a swift recovery In November of 2020 I was unexpectedly shot at as well there is no contex I was merely there at the wrong time none of the bullets hit me but how I suffer for, ptsd. I am still a little skeptic but for the most part I blame myself for all of it. now I have devoted myself to Buddhism, period. I have stopped any ties between the tarot and voodoo but I still don’t feel like everything is not okay it almost feels like I’m just waiting for another bad thing to happen. I was never harmed physically instead the spirits came for my family I still don’t know what to do and or if Buddhism has a solution to my problem I devote all my Spiritual time to Buddhism now though and for the most part of 2021 life has been pretty good please please please if someone has any information or Anything that can help me out please it would be of much appreciation❤️.

Its all about intention. There is no good or bad in this universe. If you say something is bad... then you just made a good. But to what degree? Good and bad are the same but just at different degrees. This is explained in the hermetic teachings as well. Tarot, numerology, astrology are not dangerous if your intentions are pure and of light and love. People who do not properly handle these tools may encounter otherwise depending on their vibration as well.

I ching has been used by the Chinese since around 750 bc. One of the oldest forms of numerology is Tibettan. Vedas are masters of Astrology. St. Augustine said numbers are the universal language offered by the deity to humans as confirmation of the truth. Yes these things can be used by the ego for control and can open doors to lower vibrational energies but you say all this started before religion. Well I say look at the history books. Religion has caused more wars, torture, murder and separation than any other thing on the planet. It is a breeding ground for the ego and low vibrational energies also. There is sexual abuse even within the ranks of Buddhism. So it seems very arrogant to sit there and say that these practices you speak of are dangerous and will open doors to evil when clearly it is the one weilding the philosophy which governs the energy of the result of all religious/spiritual practices. Intention is Law and just as there are thousands in religion helping people with unconditiinal love and compassion for their fellow man, there are also thousands of practicing Shamans and Astrologers and Numerologists etc doing the same. Power over is low energy and it exists in all walks of life but so Love exists also in all walks of life.

I agree - there's something confusing about this. Tsem says watch out for using number magic, but has an amazing numerology calculator on his website. Furthermore, it is identical to the numerology that I know about, having learned it in the west. His calculator says the exact same things, and so on. I think he must be referring to some other type of spirit magic astrology than what the majority of people in the west are using. Or on the other hand, intention might make all the difference, exactly as you say.

I was of that generation. Only a certain percentage of us "dropped out". Many lived the usual way they were brought up. I practiced yoga and meditation as a teen. There were others like is. Your vision of that time is corrupt. There was a deep feeling of Love and Peace and self expression. It changed the timeline to make it possible for youth of today to live in a higher vibration. If you went back to the early 50's and 60's, you would probably be one of the kids dropping out.

what do we do in a situation where your stepdad does Santeria/witchcraft? I mean, he's part of my family now and he has an altar at his home. I visit my mom and him every now and then, but I know that he has negative spirits around him. honestly, my life has not been the same ever since he came into our lives. I have passed a very similar experience. I struggled a lot and it was very tough. Meditation and spiritual practices were important to improve the situation, but regarding to the spirts attacks, I found this channel of a monk that gives mantras to listen for various purposes, such as expel demons, witchcraft and things like that. I have struggled with those since I was a kid, visited a lot specialists on the matter, but this mantras were the inly tying that helped me to expel thos spirits from my life finally. Rinpoche has passed away, these videos are now posted by Kechara house. In general any kind of divination like tarot etc is spiritually dangerous. Like he said you open a gateway for spiritual forces that aren't good to say the least.

Tsem Rinpoche stated in the video, yes such practices can be intentional or unintentional gateways for supernatural entities that can really have an detrimental impact in your life. Our advice would be to stop such practices. If however, you already have signs of supernatural disturbances, you can engage in the various practices that can help solve these issues, such as the practice of a Dharma Protector such as Dorje Shugden.

I'm start to think I've got this kind of problem because of years of I-ching consultations; I use to be a healthy strong man and now I'm allways sick and week, so my mother, with pain and health problems; I think this spirits makes you sick and then they offer you the "medicine" or solution for the problem they actually made on you, (I use to ask the "oracle" for a solution to my health problems..maybe they screw me up and then give me the "right solution"); I think they give me a specific problem in my leg so I can't sit in sadhana position (like "we don't want you meditate" or we want you away for Buddha, Dharma and Supreme Sangha); Also i can't practice qigong or sports, something very important to me in a psychological level; Lately I ask the "oracle" about Buddhas, Guru Rimpoche, Nirvana, Emptiness, dhuka...all the answers he gives me was bad and negative, apparently the "oracle" reject Buddhism all the way; Also I've got a few bad luck incidents, very curious and specific events, like some kind of evil "signals"; Then the sincronicity fenomena, like messages and rare coincidences with numbers all the time; Some crazy sexual nightmares too; I'm start to scare about all this, specially after he reject Buddhas and Padmasambhava, and all of those who follow Guru, wich is an open evilness declaration; Another time he stablish that humans are slaves of astrological hierarchies (wich means: "you're just like animals, you're not free, you're not future buddhas, you're slaves and that's your role in the matrix"), another evil declaration; considering Buddhas teach us the Great Compassion for all sentient beings , oracle celebrate suffering as a human way of learning and say "that's your destiny" I just can help you to get a better deal or tells you what's the bettter option; Anybody knows how to get rid of this manipulative spirits, from a Vajrayana/Mahayana perspective? There is some Dharani or Mantra for this problem? What you say about the japanese Kuji-In (defensive Mudras and Mantras) they work in this case?

I disagree.your words have sound of fear and phobia.spirits to me bring the message of love .They dont control me .i have a free will.They have showed me Love .Therw is only love in the higher dimension.There are lower density spirits.but the angels from higher dimension always come with love.There are lot of different kind of spirits and beings but it depends on your consiousness is it merges into love or remain in lower chakras when communicating.personally i have experienced darker force are in action when the sun goes down.
