When discussing things they don't understand, fellow Christians should keep quiet. They often say orderly systems contradict entropy, for example. There's also something called "spontaneous order" that arises from entropic systems, even though disorder is part of entropy. Although I believe in God, this oversimplification of entropy is pretty cringe-worthy to see used so confidently. I feel compelled to advise my fellow Christians against oversimplifying concepts like entropy. It's not out of malice, but rather to correct the misconception that entropy excludes order. Contrary to what some may believe, entropy can indeed lead to order. Life and other complex systems feed off negentropy. reversing' entropy' - but only at the local scale, ie to create that order, they have to create much more disorder, overall. eg to maintain a healthy human body (which is `ordered and complex') for 80+ years - you have to turn a whole lot of other plants and animals into dung (by eating them).

Matt, no one is saying rocks evolved. and the whole degradation thing? yeah you said that in a video where you tried to debunk evolution, and were wrong because mutations can in fact produce positive effects. For example, the whole reason we can drink other animal's milk and not be sick (except for lactose intolerant people) is because of a random mutation being passed down through natural selection. those who are lactose intolerant haven't had that mutation passed down to them. New information in our DNA arises all the time, it's just that the effects are only noticeable in new generations. Individuals don't evolve, populations over many generations do. Individuals mutate and adapt.

For one, atheists dont think everything created itself. Atheists just dont believe your claims, since you fail to convince them. That's literally all an atheist is. It's not voluntary either. You *cant* chose what you believe. You either are convinced or not. That said, science doesnt claim everything created itself either. The big bang theory makes no statements about the origin of the universe, it simply explains its expansion. Just like the theory of evolution makes no claim about the origin of life, it just explains diversity. That said, why *cant* the universe be eternal? Or come from nothing, for that matter? Eventually *something* had to have always existed or came from nothing. There is simply no other option. No matter what that thing was, these very concepts make no sense to us. However quantum mechanics and relativity taught us that reality is not required to make sense to our tiny little monkey brains. So if *something* had to always exist or come from nothing.. why cant it be the finitely complex universe? Why does it have to be an infinitely complex being and the concept of literal magic? If you find it hard to believe something finitely complex could have always existed / came from nothing.. then you should find it *infinitely more* hard to believe that your god has these same properties.

There are many gifts that God gave us in the physical world that are not made out of matter but exist, numbers for example are an abstract concept and not real, they do not exist outside of a mind. I'm guessing you love someone, can you quantify that love, can it be proven by the scientific method that you love someone, can you pop it into a jar and show me? You have a soul that transcends the physical and is unique to you, when you leave this place, you will know you have a soul.

The dead, non sentient, elements for life would be scattered\destroyed by the water molecules. Living organisms need water to survive, yes. Some living organisms were designed to survive and live in water. But when discussing the *prebiotic world,* where no life exists, non-living material cannot come to life by random processes in water. It’s not physically possible. Water scatters RNA molecules. RNA is pre-DNA. And water is known to disintegrate organic molecules. ✅

My job is a commercial pilot and I know the design of the aircraft is highly complex and was created and assembled by highly intelligent people; a non living advanced aerial platform that when compared to DNA or the human cell is nowhere near as complex or advanced, and we are expected to believe we formed by chance over millions of years, after billions of years ago primordeal soup paved the way to all life. There is just no way all life and our universe could have formed by chance, it takes something more than just pure coincidence with odds that are impossible. I definitely have not been conned.

By the way my avatar pic is a fossil finger I found in the upper Edward’s cretaceous along with nautilus shell that was on top of it during a drought a large chunk of the shoreline busted off that was solid limestone. I forwarded both to Dr. Dan Diggle for testing. Texas A&M said the place I found it that the limestone is 60-140 million years old.
