The main problem is this team is not made from ground up since what audi is usually used to and they could have handled the transition from a sauber team to audi team better, but considering they're doing this kinda for time first time they have made some serious errors, but considering there are teams like alpine who are barely surviving and lets not forget how williams were not performing for so many years, who just now have had an uptick in form that too minimal and not to mention after infusion of money by the investment group ...... There’s certainly a well trodden pattern because Porsche, Peugeot, BMW, Toyota, all did ok in sportscar racing, but failed in F1, whether it be as a team or engine supplier. Makes sense owning 100% F1 team by a car manufacturer seems very risky. The business model of Mercedes is something great, Mercedes gets the benefit of all the marketing it needs by having a team but Totto who knows F1 and what it means to race a motor car owns it 40%. Mercedes doesn’t have to worry about who is running and on point. More or less that is what we need across the paddock because car manufacturers doesn’t equal race car winning team. Obviously there is no perfect model for running an F1 team but definitely need diversifying risk across couple of stakeholders who knows a thing about F1.

F1 ownership and the running of the FIA needs a massive overhaul as saying GM can't join as an extra team when more seats are desperately needed. And then making certain main races in Europe rotate while they can't even sell tickets to a crappy street race in the us. And having to half the ticket price and still tickets are everywhere just shows how poorly it's run and bad decision are made.

I can't wait to see how the old boys stack up against the rookies in each of their teams.

The fact that it costs upwards of £1 billion to buy an F1 team now just goes to show how bad inflation has got. In 2009 Brawn bought Honda for £1.

If there is so much money pouring into F1, surely we could have a couple of more teams?? Wasn't that part of the reason for the cost cap? Sustainability for new teams, not to enrich the 10 current teams. We need more cars on the grid. If there are only going to be 10 teams allowed then they should run 3 cars. Eg 2 cars could be branded Audi and a third branded VW or Skoda for a rookie seat?? 2 Aston Martins and a 3rd branded Honda for Yuki??

Audi and VW are having huge issues with sales being decimated in China by Chinese EVs. I think Audi deep down really wanted a driver like Zhou to do well and bring in all that extra publicity for their most important market, however, that didnt turn out the way they wanted. Now, they've dropped Zhou and this will just exacerbate the issue. People forget that Audi went into F1 to sell more cars.

I would call it Andretti Karma - for they way FIA rejected this bid, now it is nor sure there is 20 competitive cars.

Sauber did 1 good thing: they made a clearly distinctive car. Bright green = Sauber But all those people now in charge say they are good at making and running F1 cars. It's time, in a few months, to show some potential.

I wonder if they were maybe expecting better performance out of this years and next years teams? In terms of the close constructors prize winnings I could see that making a big difference.

I don’t feel like this is a real story until there’s an Audi branded car on the grid. No one in the wider audience sees anything Audi related on race day.

Meanwhile Andretti has the engine, the funding, the racing team knowledge, the test track, the facilities to build the car, AND US senator backing, and yet these teams that aren’t even sure if they want to be in the sport are allowed to go through. It’s laughable.

Every day i get more pissed that F1 won't allow more than 10 teams anymore. Andrettis team would be such a much more well run and all in investment.
