The Descendants franchise has thrown so many twists and turns at their audiences. Like who would’ve guessed that Mal’s dad would have been Hades? Not us. However, one of the most shocking plot twists yet has been Audrey becoming The Queen of Mean. While her sass and attitude were definitely #relatable it got us thinking about whether this princess would ever get her fairytale happy ending.
Why? You ask. Because we’re convinced that Princess Audrey is truly the descendant that’s rotten to the core. Her little rendezvous with evil might have pushed her over the iceberg but she's always been rough around the edges especially when it came to taking back what she believes Mal and Ben stole from her.
There are tons of easter eggs sprinkled across the movie and even behind the scenes that show us that The Descendants creators are definitely not finished when it comes to Audrey's story arc. Will she team up with Harry Hook in a potential part four of the series? Or will she be the daughter Maleficent has always wanted in an epic spinoff? We're delving into everything the actors and characters having hinted at the franchise continuing.
