I really don't know what and how to feed my 11 months baby, I started solid foods at 4 months (fruit and veggies puree) and he did really well with that. but when he turned 7-8 months he stopped and refused to eat veggies. I tried everything but nothing seems to work. He drinks about 5 bottles of formula milk about 120-150 mls during the day (he also wakes up a couple of times during his sleep time to drink formula milk) and would only eat half a banana with cerelac (once per day) and refuses to eat anything else like veggies, egg, meats, rice or pasta... i'm so worried that he's not getting enough nutritions not to mention him staying up all night and having difficulty and restless sleeps. I need help please!

(well, he doesn't like eggs) but thank god it's such a relief. i know how frustrating it gets, but u need to be patient. i didn't do anything special, he just started eating, i was making orzo or risoni, for myself one day and offered him some and he ate it and asked for more i started with light flavered food first so i mixed the risoni pasta with yogurt and fed him then moved to rice with yogurt, then toast with cream cheese for breakfast and kept offering him different foods from there. I guess it just was a phase or maybe his teeth were bothering him. A lot of ppl with experience from the family told me that it was because of his teething, that some babies lose their appetite while teething. oh and also stopped his milk bottles at night during sleep gradually so he woke up hungry. so now when he wakes up at night crying I give him water and he goes back to sleep.hope that helps. and i really hope that your baby starts eating soon, just be patient and keep offering him/her diff foods untill they like something. best wishes! 🙏🏼

Hello anna ..i do understand your situation...actually if you see the video on our channel on how to start food for babies we always suggested to give food firstly mashed with hand so that its not blended completely and child gets habit to chew..it seems in the starting you have put this habit..what i suggest now is start giving some snack food or finger food..snacks generally kids enjoy...also start eating food with child..show them how you are eating...let him reject food a few times but if you kewp blending food child will never learn the art of chewing

We introduced solids when she turned 6 months, she showed interest too but then she had upset stomach (most probably because I had put the same dropper in her vit d3 drops without sanitizing) so her pediatrician asked us to stop solids for 14 days and after that we have been trying but no success one thing or other happened (she started again but then teething happened that lasted for months) , read books, consulted pediatricians (who are not worried and says its normal and put her on supplements), she is completely dependent on breastfeeding. Though one thing is that she is active (super) and reached all her milestones before time (she is already walking independently for last 2 months)

Ok... firstly since baby is active its a very good sign but still at this age breast milk cannot alone give all the nutrition required...i suggest firstly try variety with her..some children are very choosy...also try reading some books with her which shows baby eating..else show some kids who she likes playing with and tell how and what they eat..basically from my personal experience children generally try to copy people who they love..

@@docitbabiezz1541 ya I have been to doc he suggested to skip milk and prescribed vitamin supplements but problem is my son never takes medicines very hard to give him literally I have to torture him to put medicine I am helpless and worried a lot. He is active and his weight is 15 but noo food only milk, water and some very little chips and choc that tooo by force. As doc said avoid milk I tried tht tooo kept him without milk till 5 pm he was not ready to eat anything I was helpless and concerns so gave him milk at last. Weight seems to be fine but without food he won't get proper nutrition..some children use milk to fill there stomach as they like it and its easy to digest... Doctor is suggesting to stop milk so that he takes something else but i thibk they should prescribe some medice for appetite also..can you take second opinion with a doctor

Giving him medicine is a big problem for us coz he never swallow and during his fever we hospitalise him so tht doc give him through drips and now his food issue, till 2.6 years he was all fine after tht all of a sudden he stoped I am worried day and night. firstly we really feel happy that we could of help to you.. eating while lying down is very dangerous...always make it a habit to eat on dining table...for kids also use a high chair....

Try with semi solids first...although iss age tak bacche ko swallow kerna aa jana chahiye but it all depends ki usne kiss type ka food khaya hai..so dheere dheere aap pure solids pe shift ho...

Its easy bring a doll and put a spoon of food near it and make it that then dol not eats it and throw the doll at the wall and he wil get scared and eat it
