Why Bass is Important in Hardcore Punk!

Probably the most laughed at instrument in Punk strikes back!
In my opinion, bass is extremely important for the sound of a band.

Hey, I really like what you were playing. Makes the music a lot more interesting, but back when I was playing bass in a punk band, the point wasn't that though, it was more like playing along with the guitar to completely fill up the space with a wall of sonic blast.

I love what a good bass player can add to a song but my band doesn't have one and if we can't find one to play live I'm just gonna have a stupid Thicc guitar tone and play through bass amps 😂

@@WilDBeestMF i was actually just checking out this band called Bolzer, they're a two piece just Guitarist/Vocalist and a drummer. He runs a 10 string guitar and splits it between two guitar amps and also to a bass amp with an octave down pedal. He tunes to A so he has a good bit of range from the low A and the higher doubled strings like a 12 string give a chorus effect it's really cool and interesting.
