I get you, I have felt same way since the first day I started playing it, I was overwhelmed by its beauty, attention to detail, the destruction, the gritty war aspect. This is the only FPS shooter I play tbh and I don't think I'll stop doing that. In other games you're just playing a game, in Battlefield 1 you are a soldier with a purpose, it feels like war. Battlefield 1 means men going to war. And I'll never get over that. Period.

BF1 is the only game out of all major fps titles to ever come out that features the russian civil war and for me, a russian person, this is a one big reason to love this game. No other game would let me fight the red army under the white russia banner and turn the tide in the battle of Tsaritsyn in favour of legitimate russian forces fighting the anti-russian horde led by a bunch of treacherous bastards. Lol.

@@TheRushot yes on Epic! The only problem I'm facing is latency is always above 120 most of the time. Server browser is the only way where I'm getting good matches to play.

I really love this game. Now, due to the war, EA has disabled our access to purchases and tech. support. I lost access to my account, which has a lot of games, EA does not respond and literally does not care about their Russian players. Dude, to be honest, I always had warm emotions when playing Battlefield 1, but those who made this game scored on us and turned off our access. I am very sad for all this time when I played BF1, and that now, I can not return to this game. Hmm. Russians were banned from playing their games just because of trends((( If anything, I'm Russian myself.

Execution of the game and gameplay mechanics is spot on and balanced. It takes teamwork to succeed and is satisfying to play even when you lose.

When I figured out how the bf1 sniping works and things had come together, I wondered if I am wrong about bfv sniping and that bf1 is just better. Yesterday I have played bfv and it was frustrating but there was just 1 thing that kept me going. Sniping (and also the fact that I want that sakura camo for my type 99 arisaka so badly + I am getting quite close to 94% headshot rate with it). For me bfv has the best sniping alongside with tf2 I have ever tried and it was bfv that made me realise that I can only snipe on fps games (have not played the bfv alpha but I wish I could). Tbh I wish both bf1 and bfv had undergone any change in terms of gameplay but to keep the core design. Bf1 just a nice casual game to chill, bfv bit more balanced but nowhere near competetive. Just to balance/remove bullshit from those games (type 2a, shotguns, zh 29, smg 08, vehicles etc). When I play bfv it also kinda makes me bit sad 'cause I always see what the game could have been and how much potential ea had thrown away. I just wish ea was not greedy for money, if they didn't have this god complex and for once listened to their community and made another actually good game like they used to be able to do in the past. But I am still going to keep playing both games since I just like sniping (and 'cause of my arisaka bias). Nice vid mate

BF1 sniping is super satisfying but I do prefer BF5 sniping. No suppression makes sniping so much more enjoyable, if only BF1 removed it it would be #1 for me.

I like all the battlefield games but Bf1 is great for people who introduced to Battlefield franchise. Me coming from BF3 and BF4 I’m not a fan of BF1 the soldier movement is absolute garbage imo. Great video btw

It is a flawed game - every Battlefield has been - that's perhaps what you're trying to describe when you say it's unbalanced. If it was re-released, I can imagine a lot of things being improved, however, everybody has their own idea what could be improved - for example, I didn't dislike the elites or behemoths, and so many people disliked the gunplay, because they just didn't understand it. I fully agree with you about the game overall. As far as I am concerned, it is the best Battlefield, because it offers the most satisfying gameplay, and is packed with mostly good content.

BF1 is not perfect and its def not the best in the series. The sweetspot mechanic is terrible, gas grenades and bayonet charges are awful. That being said I do understand why ppl continue to play this game. And I love how many weapons there are despite being such a hard time period to build around.

@@TheRushot interesting. I've never actually played the alpha. I haven't even played bf5 since 2021 coz my laptop broke. I used to play as a sniper exclusively (with the zh-29) on it and I loved every moment of it (except the cheaters). I really miss the game so much. 😞 That's why I started watching bf5 videos like yours on KZbin - to relive that experience.
