Bengal is not Kolkata... Bengalis bourgeoise and villagers need to understand that despite having the India's most fertile land for agriculture we need some places for transforming it into "heavy-machinery" areas. Investing/setting up factories in the distant districts of Bengal, such as Purolia, Coch Behar will allow the DE-CONJUSTION happening in Kolkata. Bengal receives heavy rainfall which damages major chunk of roads which is a major outflow of development. We also share large coastline along with lower Himalayas which is very rare. Thus, investing in tourism will boom the local market into new heights. We Bengalis love being called as "INTELLECTUAL" but the problem is, our human resource is now being outsourced into different states which is slightly good because it helps Bengalis make small communities in different states which enhances the popularity among other statesmen. The disadvantage is we are having very LESS seats in govt colleges and thus increasing or upskilling infra and courses will help us to lead ahead than many Southern States too. In summation, Bengalis need to love CAPITALISM just like the Bengal Sultanate times and the British era. Bengalis in other states if possible should conduct businesses and SHOULD be away from their beloved Bengal. I mean comeon, just see the Gujaratis and the marwaris. My childhood was spent in Kolkata and had seen the worst traffic of Kolkatta ever and now after my retirement I visit Kolkata almost every year as it is like my second home, I am happy to see so many flyovers, metros etc which made it easier for Office goers and School children to reach their destination on time. Few months back I travelled from Kasba to Burrabazar and back without any problem as I was not stuck on a traffic jam as expected, perhaps this is one of the development and achievement of the Bengal Govt.

Bengal is not Kolkata... Bengalis bourgeoise and villagers need to understand that despite having the India's most fertile land for agriculture we need some places for transforming it into "heavy-machinery" areas. Investing/setting up factories in the distant districts of Bengal, such as Purolia, Coch Behar will allow the DE-CONJUSTION happening in Kolkata. Bengal receives heavy rainfall which damages major chunk of roads which is a major outflow of development. We also share large coastline along with lower Himalayas which is very rare. Thus, investing in tourism will boom the local market into new heights. We Bengalis love being called as "INTELLECTUAL" but the problem is, our human resource is now being outsourced into different states which is slightly good because it helps Bengalis make small communities in different states which enhances the popularity among other statesmen. The disadvantage is we are having very LESS seats in govt colleges and thus increasing or upskilling infra and courses will help us to lead ahead than many Southern States too. In summation, Bengalis need to love CAPITALISM just like the Bengal Sultanate times and the British era. Bengalis in other states if possible should conduct businesses and SHOULD be away from their beloved Bengal. I mean comeon, just see the Gujaratis and the marwaris. West Bengal people are extremists and very sentimental and non compoliance with employees code of conduct more so now with political support of Mamtaji even Tata had to shift its NANU car manufacturing unit to South. I have seen in Durgapure with communist parties and Indian National Congress Party unions had matual arrangement and there was alwaya union agitation and wasting much of production time in non productive ways. Even after appointing Mr. Tulple as GM of Durgapure Streel Plant , he too failed as unions never listened him and he repented and acknolowleged that it was difficult to deal with so many unions issues in 1972. Now with Mamta all gone to dogs and inter union fights destroyed many industries and reduced production.

Same is with Odisha where Paradip port is only functional. Majority of India's trade was done with western part of the world than ASEAN and east asia. Miniscule amount of trade from East was catered by ports of Andhra and Tamil Nadu. I'm not even from Bengal or Eastern India but i know that they have been pushed to oblivion through barbaric policies which focused on deindustrialization of East in favour of Industrializing West and South India.
