Jesse, The best camera person for the job is your girlfriend. Your brother loves to be a finance manager working for very low money so I would tell him to do what he loves best and to hell with him, because you offered him a much better lifestyle and he was too snobbish or too lazy to take it on. If I were you I would pay your girlfriend $150,000.00 a year for the 1st year as a trial run, and then offer her a partnership deal and pay her a 50% share of the revenue in the 2nd year and so on, rather than just paying her a measly $150,000.00 yearly salary. This will be a real commitment to your relationship as lots of partnership businesses are now run by boyfriend and girlfriend or husband and wife owners. Also there are now lots of professional camera persons who are female and they work for the major television channels like CNN & NBC with salaries around 350K. I’d like to be a camera man. Freshly graduated, no college and I’ve been working factory full time since. In high school I took a radio and tv class and learned some filming and all that. I’m by no means saying I’m good with a camera, I’d still have to learn, but I also learn very quickly and can adapt quickly. It would be awesome to do this but good luck to whoever ends up becoming a camera man. It’s an awesome job, even if it’s not a job, it’s still fun to experience.

Also, I don't really think a live competition is a viable way to pick a camera person. It was entertaining last time, but it just doesn't seem practical if you're looking for the most qualified individual. You should accept unlisted KZbin submissions or something of the sort and judge that way, so you can get a better range of the people who are interested in getting involved in your content. Maybe a demonstration of acting ability. I mean, there's no reason to go that far with it, but since the camera is usually a main character it's probably important that they can play the part
