I think the team is looking better because the coach is being forced to play the younger/faster guys. They have always been good but because McDermott would never play the younger guys, they never had chances to show what they could do! The talent has always been just sitting on the roster collecting rust. The way the league is now, you have to play your young inexperienced guys because they are typically much more athletic than the vets. The coach has to have more faith in the young players.

Yep!!!! Pays off big in the postseason too because those inexperienced fast guns aren’t really rookies anymore in the Divisional and onward!
