Wtf is a prepaid check card? The difference between crypto and anything that involves a bank is there is no bank it’s not rocket science. No government can seize your assets if they can’t get your keys.

I think a lot of people misunderstand Bitcoin. It is not really a crypto "currency". If you're using it to transact then you're doing it wrong so it is not a surprise that many other things are having a greater transaction percentage. Bitcoin is more of an asset, a digital gold if you will. Sean Mackay makes this point briefly nearer the end of the video.

I think it is more likely for BTC, & ETH to retest the resistance to the upside and then move lower. Stable coins still carry counter party risk of the central banks and then the bank holding the stable coin backed funds. Then also the network that the stable coin lives on. Not comparable to Bitcoin at all

Stable coins are always centralized. But it does have it's place. Market with the combination of decentralized and centralized currencies is probably most optional.

Middle man. What crypto is there to get rid of. Basically all cryptos are designed for self-custody. Custodial services run counter to that. Leeches. There are simple solutions to each of the issues he raised, for example, creating a new wallet for each client gives total clarity and compartmentalization. All automation is third party second layer software that could be run in-house, licensed or otherwise, there's no need for a custodian. Not saying he's a bad guy, but it is a parasitic model.

My bank informed me that cash payments or transfers will be converted temporarily into stablecoins transfered in and out again into whichever end use currency. It seems banks are ready for this. I think in time private keys will become illegal in some countries ie transfers will have to go through institutional intermediaries so that taxable activity can be assessed where appropriate.
