Plus immigrants are the reason why jobs are lower pay and with less benefits. They take less because they know no better and still make more than they do in their homelands Plus American companies go overseas to these 3rd world countries and pay someone over there 25 cents an hour whereas in America he would be paying $25 an hour to do the same job. Also who are you to judge on how a person spends their money? They earned their money. They can spend it on wtf they wanna spend it on. Stop pocket watching

I ain't going in to no debate. But I was born here and I speak for myself and my experience and my knowledge. But even in the 3rd world countries and the the Caribbean Islands and beyond...dark people are the most oppressed and discriminated against.... Cuba Puerto Rico, Haiti etc etc.... it's just easier for immigrants to take advantage of this government. The unfortunate thing is that the people here don't understand what the underlying issues are that make West Indies people too look down on US black people. Do your research and I am going to keep gathering and researching my own.
@PKBassPlaya
@PKBassPlaya Жыл бұрын
@@priestlybarrs7224 for me this isn't a debate. I'm not trying to invalidate anything you are saying because I know very well that these are lived experiences that black folk in America have lived with directly. To me it's a conversation about understanding each others perspectives. From my observation and research, the passed down dysfunction in the black American community didn't start until the 60's when Lyndon Johnson introduced the Great Society act. All hell broke loose in the black American family unit and structure. During slavery, black people in America were still getting married and staying married. On an economic level black families thrived in those conditions. Fast forward to the 60's and 70's. The introduction of welfare and it's conditions were presented to the black woman and she chose a cheque over a family which shot the single motherhood rate to an almost whooping 72%. That then became the demise of the black family in America. Everything else went to sh*t after that due to the absence of father's in the home. I also acknowledge the racist war on crime bill introduced by your current president back in the 90's during Clinton's presidency which was responsible for further destruction of the black community which then led to rise in gang culture due to no presence of strong male authority figures in the lives of the younger black kids due to mass incarceration. Over here in Africa, we've had our share of woes from colonialism and bad leadership to this day but we were lucky that things like welfare were not introduced and our legal system does not reward or incentivize women for divorcing their husbands as it is in the west. On a cultural level, we see things very differently, their are many things black American culture promotes that we as Africans just cannot rock with or condone. That's why a lot of times there is an impasse with both our communities.

@PKBassPlaya I am definitely with you on these facts brother. This is The dysfunction that I spoke on. Black Americans and all of the disconnect from truth and knowledge of self. The difference between indoctrination and education makes the core line of separation between the black American and the immigrants. This is false. Immigrants make just a little less than what the native born Americans make. They don’t out do us. They have a poverty level of 1% less. This is the model immigrant lie at work. There are more black entrepreneurs than ever in our lifetime. Why is that not progress? It’s slow but it’s not stagnant. Remember not everybody can can sit at the table. Some gotta clean it or make it.

This! A lot of people are sick & tired of capitalism in which we have to work two or three jobs just to make ends meet, & tired of paying high rent, mortgages & bills (& paying high grocery prices). Meanwhile, you have corrupt politicians everywhere living the high life & get millions of bribe money/dark money by selling themselves off to their wealthy, billionaire donors, corporations & lobbyists. People like that guy in the video needs to get out of here with that “lazy” bull.

Tell the truth. Wealthy Nigerians who paid to go to Private British schools in Nigeria are coming over. The poor can’t afford the plane tickets. My sons private school teacher was Nigerian and SHE TOLD ME ALL ABOUT HOW ITS DONE. They are not that smart! 300 million Nigerians working along with 60 million Black Americans who are Engineers, computer engineers, doctors, nurses, CPAs, architects, mechanical engineers, chemical engineers, Lawyers, Music giants, Athletes. That’s the population of the whole United States. Now add the millions in the Caribbean and the 100 millions of blacks in South America. Not even going to add the rest. People are talking about small accomplishments when we could work together and actually compete! SMH

Some of what you say has Merit but not so fast, if the immigrants are as good as you say then how come they aren't good at building up their own country. To me that's the greatest test of how good you really are. Foundational black Americans has engaged with great forces against us for Generations and it's not exactly like they gave us a head start either, actually they put us way behind. Considering all that, in some cases we've done remarkably well in other cases we have a long way to go no doubt. But we haven't run from the boogeyman we've been facing him everyday. We've also laid the groundwork in the 1960s civil rights so we and other people could come here and enjoy today's freedom. Foundational black Americans it's not the immigrants who did that, so if you're going to tell a story tell the whole story.

But, Black American MEN squander opportunities all the time by going to jail too much. You guys remind me of the Indians after colonization from the British Empire, they accepted their world, but rejected their culture . Many of the youth are waking up understanding the bullshit and pushing against it. Once we get our community together, this self righteousness will be remembered.
