yea that was an error on my part, i used to always think light did more damage but both light and line infantry are the same damagewise, just have different deviation which changes accuracy

Most likely because the wiki is like 70% wrong, then 10% is close enough, and 20% is actually correct.

I won a 1v16 clutch with light infantry in grasslands, the reload is fast and you have a sabre/sword which is pretty overpowered

I love the light inf, but I’m a more aggressive player so having the bayonet really makes a difference, especially when fighting other light inf players

it is important to note that, you must be more safe and prepared when encountering a cav tank, enemies that use melee are easy to obliterate, those with guns are average

I overall prefer light infantry over rifleman because I am a pretty good at sword fighting, so I would rather use a Sabre than the Sabre briquet and the sword bayonet.

Always liked the light infantry in B&I (despite the fact it doesn't have a bayonet, for those "oh shoot!" situations), just never knew why. I know i'm late to the party but this gives me my explanation. (Also, something that i've noticed is that most of the times i die while in a melee vs melee fight (while as a light infantry), I die from the bayonet of the infantry. If they're using their melee weapon it's usualy a 50-50 chance. Probably just a skill issue of mine though.)
