this video was a very rushed school project, the teacher gave us an assignment on the topic of our choosing and we had to write an essay or make a video essay for it so i chose this topic, and the teacher forced a maximum of 10mins per video (i got 100% on it btw)
however, i have gotten a lot of inspirations from outside sources. these 3 channels i have tagged here are where i got many of my ideas and inspirations from
@HoneyBat
@StopMakingSense
@Foxcade (i will point out however, both of us using resident evil as an example is merely a coincidence)
these 3 youtubers helped me a lot with my script.
i have another project in the works at the moment about another video game (this one will be worked on a lot more and harder than this one) so if this very rushed school project is actually somewhat decent, it’ll motivate me to finish my project.
video was entirely edited on my phone, and i used a cheap apple earbuds for audios so please excuse the bad quality or editing

There is music in this game that absolutely terrifies the soul... And then there's Ludwig's theme, which makes you fell like dancing with insanity itself and you're loving it!

Hahahaha the fact that you said that Ludwig was the most human beast you can encounter and the truth and juxtaposition of what he looks like to and actual human was great I never thought of it that way

I moved from the countryside with no neighbors for a 100ft to a big (for me) suburb with neighbors 10ft away separated by a wall. At the same time I started playing BB and I’ll never forget walking around Yharnum fighting for my life and the far away cackling of women could be heard. It was so eerie I couldn’t tell if it was diegetic game sounds or my neighbors having a good time. The sound design was so good for this game.

Are you sure he's immune, or just hasn't had enough time to transform into a beast.
@RommelStorm
@RommelStorm 6 ай бұрын
Yeah the Hunter might not be immune since he was using the thing for literally one night. And the Yharnamites have been imbibing on it for god knows how long.

Just ab to say this, you arent immune, you're more like one of many temporary fixes. I kina like the beast pellets as a way to "utilize beasthood" to be stronger etc, but the first time i played i thought you would die from maxing it out so i never used it lol I feel like it makes sense to die of transformation but also that just goes against aggression, so as a mechanic you would have to just *stop fighting* for a while, or have another item to cure, and idk if thatd be so great

The horror aspects in this game are etched into every facet of it. Even the selling of the game is intended as such, since the game is limited to PS4, with 30 fps and no anti aliasing.

Your echos doesn't always get picked up by the enemy who killed you, it's more like, if an enemy walks over them, then the echos will get picked up from them Cause, a long time ago i got killed by a sack guy then i obviously got respawned, went back to the location and a crow had my echos

The first part of RE4 is frightening to be honest, you don't expect to be assaulted by so many enemies so early. The campyness gets you out from it but makes it what it is and I love it for it. I have never been scared in Bloodborne, even if it has better atmosphere. But again, those games are 10 years apart. I think because in Bloodborne you die too much (it is expected in those games) so it doesnt have a big weight, even losing many blood echoes at the end you learn doesnt really matters.

If the blood is what made them beasts then why are animals like dogs, pigs and crows turned to beasts? I think its the curse of the great ones that turned most creatures to beasts, the lore is complicated but elden ring has a magic ending that they say the world of bloodborne is the result of it, or one big nightmare idk

it’s common for multiple videos to have the same title, since my video was about the effectiveness of bloodborne’s horror i didn’t know what else to put. Furthermore, he is credited in the description

There were some inaccuracies that I'm gonna overlook for enjoyment reasons but I want to point out that hunters aren't immune to the blood the effects just haven't caught up with them yet. Old hunters (the original group of hunters) are all either lycanthropic (essentially werewolves) or full beasts. The beast don't hunt humans because they're jealous but because they're beasts with nothing but instincts. And although it true that the hunters kill former citizens it is to protect the none transformed. That "bear" is actually the only talking beast in the game and he is a hypocrite because he kills innocent citizens who you bring to the oedon chapel. What right does he have to question our action while he not only does the same but is committing the acts we hunt them for doing. So I honestly wouldn't be trusting his words. Everyone's in the wrong but in their world has devolved to a "kill or be killed" world so you can't blame anyone. Also in my opinion ludwigs sound track isn't meant to represent how he is the hunter and we are the beast but the feelings of "now a true legend stands in your way." he was actually the first hunter who we dont know why he is so deformed but generally we know that his sword was holy in some way and that Ludwig had incredible will power strong enough to resist the feral transformation that the old blood would of given him. I personally think he fought it for so long that it took a tole on his body deforming it into what is seen in the game. Until finally he lost him self in madness become the beast we see in game. But the moment we bring him to half health and his sword falls from its sheathe and he see the brilliant moonlit glow of his sword he found himself after so long (hence the silent but gradual buildup during the cutscene) and as he grips the sword and stands in opposition of you we can see a glimpse of the man he once was. Ludwig was a legend among legends until we was trapped in the hunter's nightmare left to lose himself. But before he was trapped no one could face him. And although he possesses a fraction of his former power he can still easily defeat you if unprepared. Think undertale with undyne's speech in the genocide route, at the end it opens up to a immense pantheon of music titled (as it rightfully should) "a true hero stands in your way"

thanks for you elaboration on the lore, you are correct it was a very rushed and inaccurate summary of the lore and story but that was because (if you’ve read the description) this video was a rushed school project lol, i knew the teacher wouldn’t go THAT far to actually learn about the lore of bloodborne that’s why i rushed a lot into understanding the basics. i thank you for your explanation and feedback, my future videos will be a lot more researched and thoughtful. however for some of the things you’ve mentioned those were your opinions rather than ACTUAL lore mistakes i’ve made, the ludwig soundtrack and battle for example is all based on my own analysis and how i interpreted it. tho i do appreciate hearing you out as well i loved reading your explanation ! and thanks for correcting me.
