Oh my goodness. If you have an intersection near your region that has so many accidents then if you stand at the intersection and blow the shofar then seriously less to no accidents happen. Them demons do flee! It’s some intense spiritual warfare right there.

Best one to get is a Kosher Kudu Yeminite Shofar. I would recommend to get it fully polished. I got mine only half polished and wish I would have known that before ordering.

I tried blowing the shofar and all I got out of it was slobber. Do I need an anointing to be able to play it?

You need to "purse" your lips and blow using the side of your mouth. Practise and you will get it.

Wet your lips first and put them together like you are going to blow a trumpet. It took me some practice before I got the hang of it. Ask the Lord to help you and He will, He did me😊💕

My 8 year old and 10 year old and even my 6 year old can blow the shofar so well and when they do I just close my eyes and let the sounds wash over my body and mind. I call any one of them to blow it, cos I am embarrassed to say this, - try as I may: I just can't do it !! I'll keep practicing ☺️

It shud be made from a ram ( male sheep) at least 1 year old . I SUPPOSE th e reason could be, its the symbolism of purity (sheep not goat, goats r separated from shep in tbe Biblical reference, lamb of God etc), male ( cos of strength)

Reality, historically, it was blown at the Jews march against their enemies and then afterwards, blown for their victory. Lastly, blown as a pronouncement of ADONAI's presence or speaking giving commands or guidance. We do this for those reasons.

NO. A trumpet is man made, and a shofar is God made for Gods purposes.
