if you don't have the gameplay you can compensate with story/lore discussion like you can grit through bad gameplay if you like the story enough or you can grit through bad story if the gameplay is satisfying but seemed like this game have neither, this is actually the first time I actually saw video of someone explaining this game in depth. this does look like a mix of tap mmo with occasional dodging

tldr: questing sucks bland rinse repeat. combat fine. 2:59 The combat was perfectly fine on my end. I had 0 issue with crowding and telegraphing. Skills did what they had to do flashy or not and small enemies didnt last long enough to even be a problem even on solo play. My only issue with bp was its quest. The same thing that plagues the majority of mmos is there lack of actual questing. 95% of the quest are fetch quest. Kill x amount of monsters here/there get x amount of drops from rare monsters. Oh go into this dungeon/instance mission and kill this one creature half way through. I never felt the need to truly explore or talk to any npc's. and leveling was so fast that you can blitz the story. Strip the game away and leave the player characters and combat mechanics and you can make a truly remarkable game which is what they failed to do.

Audio is very low, you need to turn it up somehow cause I have it on max volume and can barely hear you.

@@AVELEI The sound level at 100% is the same as 35% on other channels, I was just giving constructive advice for the guy so he can improve his videos, if you compare his audio levels to other youtubers it is very low.

@@Mordenperson What Volume where you trying to listen to me at. I can hear it just fine at like 45% and 35% percent with and without headphones. I don't mind making higher, but I think the average viewer should still be able to hear me decently. Thanks for the criticism though.

@@ragingworlds1020 I was listening at 100% but I had my window open and the noise from outside made me unable to hear you, I then watched another video from another channel and I was able to clearly hear the person in it even tho the noise from outside was still going on. I am simply comparing your audio levels to other channels. I liked your content.

They should have repurposed it to be a single player with local/online multiplayer like Monster Hunter, at least they could have reutilized all the mechanics, assets and voice overs they had into something with a 60 dollars game that would probably sell well.

Someone already commented this but your audio is low compared to others. Otherwise thanks for the BP criticism! I wish I could play it cuz I was waiting for this for years now and then seeing how it's not gonna release in the west is depressing.

I was super excited to play BP. Tried it when came to japan and lost all the interest in the character creation screen.

Agreed. The only people that are sad are the ones that didn't have the opportunity to be pre-disappointed. Nothing of value has been lost.

In Feb 2020 I participated in the CBT and really gave it a chance for 72 hours. Graphics = good. Music = good. Story = mid. UI = Awkward. Combat = nothing special. Archer was difficult to play effectively on controller because you lose mobility when aiming.. Then all the instanced areas means you can't easily find your friends.. Coming from FFXIV, I knew BP wasn't gonna make it past the honeymoon phase. I said my piece on multiple YT videos at the time, and on BP Discords.. I was roasted to high hell being told that "iTs a BEta! It wILl ChaNGE!" No.. It didn't change. That was the game.. A few QoL features were implemented but that CBT was pretty much what ended up being released. For anyone that is super devastated that the game will never get a global release, I'm trying to tell you don't waste your tears. You think you missed out but you didn't.

I think a lot of people are finding it a little quiet. It's not too quiet, but I think you could turn it up a little. Also, I think you should lessen the random meme clips. It kind of makes the video feel not serious and unprofessional? One or two well placed ones could be okay, but I think its a bit much right now. Hope to see more in the future though, I enjoy listening to informational videos on these kinds of topics.

lol wasn't that game hyped up beyond belief? everyone and their mother's hope for the future of gaming? our one true lord and savior? and i completely missed its launch AND its death 🤣 but the moment you said bandai namco i knew why it's a fail... any games where bamco is involved are all mediocre at best
