Hey Wuwi, great video! I was of the same mind and decided to get all of my t3 pieces just in case we lacked healers or help our 5mn dungeon grinding groups reach 70 a lot easier. We always had a shortage of healers in Classic, never really understood why, so i usually doubled as help for AQ/Naxx. Given that the raids are going to be smaller this might not be such an issue in TBC, but it's always good to be prepared as Illidan would say. Keep it up bud!

How can you be a "PVE" boomkin without improved Faerie Fire? That's the main thing you bring to the raid.
@wuwi58333 жыл бұрын
My pve build I plan on using does have improved faerie fire. The pve build I plan on going isn’t something I went over in this build. I just talked about a couple of the specific talents that would impact healing if you end up healing as balance. I’m going to go over a full pve build/guide soon. Should have it uploaded in a day or so.

yoo, I don't plan on really healing anything, but I did get my full T3, and was just looking at the stats compared to my dps gear, and I think I might use this as a starter set for PvP. What do you think?
@EVROPAEAESTHETICA3 жыл бұрын
Awful idea lol. Even if you plan on mostly healing as boomkin in PVP, spellpower > healing power. Because spellpower applies to both offensive spells and your heals. Allowing you to actually kill with spells. I could see T3 being okay for FCing if you don't have other gear because of the high armor, int, stam, mp5, heal power, and the set bonuses are mildly beneficial too. Your dps raid gear will be what you PVP with mostly, outside of Bloodvine set and stamina-less gear, e.g. Cloak of Consumption if you're still fresh. There's also the option of wearing full T2.5 for PVP which is very good, especially with a Balance PVP spec with points in the feral tree for feral charge. All of the armor and melee stats help in bear, and for big ravage openers on unsuspecting clothies. :)

With the T3 gear on, it would give me ~9% more dmg reduction in human, ~16% more dmg reduction in moonkin, +110 Healing, +200 MP5 Out of combat, +35 MP5 in combat, +130 Spirit(for Innervate), +700 HP, +1400 Mana, at the cost of 200 Spell Power. I would still have 581 SP with full T3. That seems worth it. Not of my T3 is enchanted btw.

the T3 will be solid for restokin prior to having full pvp gear. Resilience is going to be a big thing but it is itemized well for pvp if youre healing.
@EVROPAEAESTHETICA3 жыл бұрын
Ah, I was replying thinking you meant using T3 in Classic for PVP lol.
@ClassicGho3 жыл бұрын
@@EVROPAEAESTHETICA I gotcha lol. I need to get my T3 enchanted and I might try it out in the pre patch in some BGS at 60 and see how it feels. I've been PvPing the last week in my raid gear and I'm really squishy, but I can hit pretty hard!

no offence but your gemming is bad and unoptimized, you wouldn't pick a 8 spirit gem just to 4 more spirit when u can just get 18 healing power, u also gemmed for resilience and lost 27 healing power? You also said yourself that the rings are bad - naxx healing OH are worse than TBC pre-raid OH, the MH is about the same - shamans should keep Naxx shield as it's better than kara loot. For druids u r better off getting heroic OH. The moonglade set u r wearing also loses you about 200 healing, although I know you said it's just been given to you, it's not a good comparison of what someone should do, the effects on the moonglade set r just not worth it, Those who already have T3 or are getting T3 are the exact types of players who will make the mooncloth set, regardless, even if they physically can't due to money or time, this is a simple set from 2 exalted reps (sha'tar mace, and CE), and a few revered (lower city, thrallmar/HH) that gives 1500 healing, I have removed all craftable items, all crazy enchants, and it is still 1446, it is also 1028 unbuffed, which is over 200 more than ur comparison, - seventyupgrades.com/character/2c6qFWgXU1WsMWvQrnP6as/set/uaNVwUox8yHMgB4JZh8z4F With Naxx weps this set has 1374 healing, with TBC exalted weps (which will be achieved by those who are already in T3, it just will) this is 1446 healing, Essentially what I'm saying is your baseline is correct, but your TBC comparison is so off base, you can match Naxx healing BiS without even touching a heroic in TBC, this is the Naxx BiS list (give or take but just focus on the raw number) - seventyupgrades.com/character/rvFZVyYr9Lq958VHZHU8Hu/set/onjPk53xCxgs4kttZzTm5A - 1259 This is a non-heroic, mid-gemmed (half and half), outland 'fresh' 70 with no reps (at all, no honoured, no revered) - seventyupgrades.com/character/wbdNeFh9QZ1VgHYrtPi7za/set/kYXAFpM5BjjADTpCWcUM2m - 1228 healing My point is, with no money input at all, no rep grind, no crafting grind, u reach Naxx healing power with bloody regular dungeon gear. If you put some money into it for gems, you beat naxx gear, if you put some effort into rep, you beat naxx gear more, if you really put effort into rep, you beat naxx gear even more, if you get TBC enchants, you beat naxx even more, if you do the crafting grind for only 1 item, you beat it more, All these things add up, there is absolutely no way someone will go into Kara with 800 healing, especially if they are the kind of guy who got T3, EVEN THEN, the types of guys who don't get T3 now, will beat T3 healing power, spirit, and mana, of naxx gear, only thing they don't beat is mp5 and that is mainly due to Ateish, So good video, but ur a bit offbase
@wuwi58333 жыл бұрын
I mean all of this is not super relevant to my point that you can get the gear now before pre patch or tbc and still use it in Kara and not have to spend time gearing up. The healing was 800 with no wep or offhand equipped because what I have in classic is lok with spell dmg. I personally know I’ll be healing some and am not going to craft mooncloth. You don’t have to agree with my premise but this is like the 8th Druid I made on beta and various other healers and they are all within a couple hundred bonus healing of eachother. None of them having any issue full clearing Kara which is really what this prep is for haha. But to each their own ;)
@garyc26303 жыл бұрын
@@wuwi5833 Oh no man I completely agree about the clearing kara part - I just think it's unrealistic for a lot of us druids who didn't heal to get T3 if we want to heal - you can grind for 1-2 days and get gear that is equivalent to naxx gear, I would argue if you're in a position where I am now where I have very good feral gear that I'm just not going to get the T3 gear before TBC comes out, so for me, and i expect many others, it will actually take less time just to get these items and actually be more time-effective to farm gold, I'd also like to see your healing logs because I did kara 3rd week on endless as a shaman and I struggled with 1500 healing power haha although I did top the metres it felt like I was carrying people (maybe those with 800 healing? ;) ) endless is apparently a lot harder tho, and you should equip lok as a comparison and just add the numbers in future as you're obviously better healing with a lok than not a lok, it is also still the 7th bis healing wep for classic. and my point really was, those guys who have full t3 or even half - will likely be the exact audience who will get the heroic gear for an extra +20 healing on every item, Otherwise I do really like your videos as I am going boomkin in tbc also :)
@joshholmes13723 жыл бұрын
@@garyc2630 well, no point using a vanilla weapon, when he would obviously replace the weapon and relevant offpueces. The premise is, t3 is relevant up until you're getting Kara or heroic/rep/crafted gear at end game. Dunno if it's a no-brainer/worth for everyone, but it is a nice point for those that say getting t3 now is pointless. Plus t3 for the looks/flex
