F1 cars can reach speeds of over 230 miles per hour (mph) and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 1.6 seconds, while F2 cars can reach speeds of up to 200 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 2.8 seconds.😂 I am guessing Brad Pitt is no Tom Cruise in driving skill!😮

Why did they cast a 60yr old actor to play a formula one driver? Highly unrealistic and un engaging to be honest. Champions have been getting younger and younger.

But drivers have been getting older and older. Also how often have you seen actors play a character the exact same age as them? Brad Pitt doesn’t look 60, even if he doesn’t look 30 he still looks young enough to play this part if only barely.

In the words of Niki Lauda himself on Lewis Hamilton: “He’s completely different from the other guys. He enjoys life different than anybody else. You need to give him his freedom, that makes him strong“. There never was a time when his external activity ever interfered with his F1 title challenge, not even in 2016 or 2021. The hurdle came from the racing itself (Malaysia 2016 & Abu Dhabi 2021)

Top Gun Maverick didn't even use real F18s for the movie, but that didn't seem to bother anyone. I bring this movie up because the F1 movie is being directed by Joseph Kosinski, the same guy who directed Maverick. Even the movie Grand Prix 1966 had the actors/drivers drive Formula 2 cars for filming, yet this movie is regarded as one of the best ever motor racing films.
