@@viviwithav Due to history! Roughly round 1854 when the US aimed cannons at Japan to force their borders open - Brazil was rapidly industrializing, abolishing slavery and had a great leader, (which then got couped d'etat'd by rich people for the crime of fully abolishing slavery). Japan was having a really bad time w/ the forced open borders - western disease, severe famine, mass reforms etc, so they sent out immigrants to learn / earn outside of the country. US and Australia wouldn't take workers since they weren't white, but Brazil's new leadership was hungry for cheap labor (who they could exploit to replace slaves). Moon goes over the entire details (so I don't want to just summarize that entire video) - but shit got really racist for a long time, especially into WW2, though eventually brazilian society was able to grow and shit got... better. History repeated itself w/ the oil crisis and Brazil sent japanese brazilian workers to japan to learn / earn outside of the country, and so both countries ended up very aware of each others cultures. (Japan also had some racism/othering w/ these workers) Peru did something similar btw - the first Latin American country to accept Japanese immigration 9 years before Brazil, also had horrifying US deportation and racism in WW2, - but there was a lot less worker flow back to Japan as they didn't get obliterated by the oil crisis like Brazil was. Miku in your video would probably fit well into the Meyer-Archtype Brazilian Moon describes

About the suspension of twitter in Brazil, this only happened because X/Twitter didn't comply with the determinations of the Marco Civil da Internet (a general law about Internet applications), more specifically the fact that certain posts that contain illicit content (like for example CP) have to be taken down once the application provider (in that case twitter/X) is notified by a Court of Justice or by victim. This demand is not only reasonable, but it's also in accordance with other countries' legislations (US and EU) that also determine that illicit content on the Web has to be taken down. The main reason why this whole situation resulted in the banning of X was because Twitter/X, for some reason, was repeatedly refusing to take down posts with illegal content (LIKE CP) in Brazil, not only that but Elon removed twitter's administrative office in Brazil, AKA, now Brazilian people were unable to report the existence of illicit content, which in turn resulted in a lot of illegal stuff happening on twitter. I'm Brazilian and I used to be a twitter user, I may not like the ban, but I have to admit that it was fair and lawful when you consider the amount of "things" that were happening there.

I understand to finish the video in the most controversial part of the subject and, to be honest, I never thought we would go there when I clicked, by as a Brazilian that just indirectly saw the trend (I'm just an anime fan and used to look at X just to find out what other academic researchers where doing) I'm totally out of the loop and our dictat..huh..huh...supreme court judge didn't allowed X back yet so I would like to see more details and more talking about the design of the Brazilian Miku or at least as long as the time dedicated to the history of the vocaloid. I was expecting something similar to the analysis of characters in Boruto and maybe some explanation to non Brazilians of some things like the soda being "Guaraná" that a fruit typical from BR and the flip flops with painted nails that seems to be a huge difference from the original. I'm a new subscriber and I'm really liking the content so maybe I'm still not used to what I should expect. Anyway, I home my feed back is o any use. Ótimo trabalho e ótimo vídeo, Parabéns.

I wanted to cover the arc of brazilian miku, so that's why I added the bit about X being banned, and not just focus solely on brazilian miku. This isn't a classic character design analysis, but more of a media analysis that features a short history of vocaloid, and then brazilian miku. I still appreciate your feedback tho

I need to rant about Ken Akamatsu and Negima/UQ Holder real quick. I have been holding this in since I was 17 so almost 10 years. Why in the 9 Hells did Negi NOT marry Asuna!! She was the main Heroine, they had good chemistry, she was his first kiss, his first pact, was by his side during the final battle, KEN DREW ART OF THEM DANCING DRESSED AS A BRIDE AND GROOM THAT WAS MY PHONE WALLPAPER FOR 3 YEARS!!! When UQ Holder was first released Tota was Negi's grandson and it was lightly confirmed the Asuna was his grandmother because the sword he wields is an imperfect copy of her sword that only HER BLOODLINE COULD WIELD! BUT NO NEGI MARRIED THE COMPUTER CHICK WHO'S A NON CHARACTER UNTIL THE TOURNAMENT ARC AND ONLY THE TOURNAMENT ARC BECAUSE KEN AKAMATSU IS A HACK AND A FRAUD!
