Making 6p just air invul instead of upper half of the body invul would fix the problem of it just being an annoying solution to non disjointed hit boxes. Just like in FighterZ with 2H, it’s main and p much only use is as an anti air but it’s a pretty damn amazing anti air so it’s still not useless.

bridget strikes me as a hybrid between a vortex character and a control character but with a very mixed bag of both able to loop offense fairly well has decent range of threat even has decent string strike/ throw game with real defensive options to fall back on decent mindgame tools and a pretty fast gap closer that's safe on block but lacks meaningful disjoint on normals that control characters typically have pretty linear movement especially in the air low damage output and is fairly fragile i see her being better than the staple vortex characters we have in millia and i-no but idk if i see her being high tier. she might have mu's that warrant her seeing play as a counterpick in tournaments but im not sure if it'll go beyond that

if you gave her anything of what you say she lacks she would be busted. Her damage is already way beyond acceptable for a character of her type, her midrange game is great, if you disjointed her hitboxes any more she would literally be Nago 2.0. To top that off she has a stellar 6p and a great mixup game up close, which she has no problems getting to since her gap closer has countless ways to mix you up.

I swear I feel that last part so hard. I'm sure its changed now, but when I first got into the game, grabs were so annoying to deal with, and I'm super bad at reading when someones gonna grab me, and I play potemkin, so my only answer was to 2P mash whenever someone ran at my ass. And I get that there could be a faster option that I didn't know at the time, but getting grabbed felt lame, and mashing 2P worked and that shit is also lame.

I get that Kizzie is the resident Ky downplayer, but how is Faust that bad of a MU? Yeah Ky gets outranged, but Stun Dipper straight up beats a lot of Faust’s mid range options. It seems fairly even when both characters have clear way around each other’s tools.

@@razor6797 i dont know where you rank nor do i think elo or floor system represent skill but i am juxtaposer the faust player you can look me up if you want on rating update (some ppl care) or in tournament placing etc... it was just my personal account (not faulting you for judging but i dont see how your reaction was any help to anyone just a bit of reactionary moment). dudes are out there ranking faust one of the worst by far in the roster alongside chars like ram which is known to be several times worse for everyone in the roster. ive seen alot of gameplay from kizzy zippy and flash and they are playin the mu wrong in many ways. they can admit it or keep playin the way they do i dont mind not my issue... but this is miss information by ppl i can gurantee have not delved into the mu, since i have :). regardless have a nice day and next time lead with a question such as why do you think that or do you have any credentials to back your opinion instead of saying that sentence you just pulled out of wherever even if i was some floor 10 rando i dont think id feel ok with how you responded and an explanation would have been cooler

I personally feel Bridget needs to be nerfed. She's like the only character from my experience in GGST that has no less than two invulnerability moves. Most characters have one command normal that gives an upper body invulnerability and some characters will have a special move that either comes out before everything else or provides invuln for the duration. Bridget's easily spammable 623p shoryuken move grants full invuln for the duration and it doesn't cost tension to use and it's incredibly simple to use and I think between that, her 6h being a low attack dodge and her having arguably one of the better 2k's in the game is what makes her just absurdly oppressive in the corner and makes it extremely hard to get out of the corner once she gets you into it. Plus the fact if you have them in the corner and they don't block your 623p shoryuken type move, it's an instant wallbreak. If it were me I think I'd like to see either: A.) Reduce the attack speed of her h.s gatling but slightly increase the damage to compensate B.) Remove the invulnerability from her 623p but also remove peoples ability to grab her out of it I had another one but I had to go afk while writing this and my chain of thought got broken so I'll just say that this is the only character that GGST has that seems to play the same at low levels and at top tier. What I mean by that is like even watching the top tier players fight against/as Bridget it all usually devolves into the same thing. That being she gets you in a corner and unless the player themselves fucks up an input she keeps you there until the round is over. Yes yes I've heard all your counter-arguments plenty of times from the people in the GGST discord and honestly I still think she needs some balance changes. When the play style on floor 4 is essentially the same play style the "pros" use, somethings gotta change. You should be able to look at a pro player do some crazy shit and be like "Wow...how do I learn to do that?!" and not be like "Oh, I've been doing that just by spamming buttons!".

I can’t imagine seeing a floor 4 player doing kara into super with Bridget and you’re likely speaking in hyperbole. The character is one of the lowest health in the game and we haven’t even found everything out about her yet. There could be way more options than you think.

I don't remember Ky's, Sol's, Leo's, ect., granting full invulnerability for the action though. I'm about to hop on and practice some more so I'll re-review just to double check, but I don't remember seeing those in the tooltips.
