Yoooo we have another upload! You guys have been a huge inspiration, and I just took the plunge for myself after about a year and a half of planning. I don’t think my build is going to come out as cheap or as high hp as yours, but I think I’ll have her running on the new drivetrain in time for summer as well. Thanks a ton for taking the time to film and walk through your build, it helps the rest of us an awful lot on the ls swap journey.

Still working on mine as well. You hit the nail on the head there is plenty to do with the Miata but each one is a different setup and a build is never done. Future plans for me are additional sub frames. Example I would not want to race 1/2 mile with a wide angle kit used for drifting. Full built subframes with suspension could easily be changed out in a day. In the end we can take one build and change it for four to five different setups at our own pace without building a different car for each.

Do you guys have hill climb competition in your area? That’s our current choice. We also do motorkhana and khanacross. Best this is to just use it . Love the build

I built my Turbo Miata last spring. Picked up bare shell on February 8, and it ran its first drift event in end of July. It was a lot work in a short period of time, and mistakes were made and I have been upgrading and improving all summer. I had never drifted or built a drift car before and was apprehensive about it. But I didn’t need to be, I’m having a lot of fun! The drift community has been wildly accepting of a fat 50yr old newb. I highly recommend getting involved in the drift community.
