For those asking about PJWS, it is extremely good for any on-field teams like using C6 Bennett + Emilie to give her pyro infusion for burning. Pretty much the on-field equivalent of Calamity Queller. It's definitely an oversight on my part for not mentioning the weapon. All my tests were for an off-field Emilie in which PJWS only gets 1 stack on its passive for 6 seconds, making it worse than R5 Deathmatch in those scenarios. Over 90% of her teams are off-field so just keep that in mind if you want to use PJWS.

still hate how it only takes a certain character to make a bad elemental reaction to decent check overload, it was a horrible elemental reaction since 1.0 until chevreuse came out on patch 4.3 and made overload looks good due to her kit. now back again in 3.0 where they finally released dendro element and some game changing reactions such as Bloom, HyperBloom, Quicken and Aggravate but Burning was not one of them cuz only DMC, Collei and Tignhari were the few dendro avail yet until 4.8 emilie is out now makin Burn Meta. if where also talkin a certain elemental reaction where players ignored its gotta be superconduct, this reaction is dead ass useless for how god sake long, where only Eula the only Physical DPS benefit from it, not until you play her on a Hyper Fridge team then she's good as average.

@@angeloguibone3401 They gonna make a new character that uses superconduct, very likely to be the case, considering how they tackle all reaction. These character don't really fix reaction, just make them good for that specific character. We very likely need a huge overhaul on reaction if they wanna make all of them good, but I highly doubt that will happen. That will require an overwrite on the literal base game itself, and that is a big undertaking, and will very likely break many characters. They can add on reaction, which can happen, but modifying is a big no no. Games like this, I have never expect all reaction to be good, because that simply not possible to do on first release, and when the base mechanic is change at later stage, you are kinda too late. If they change very early, yeah, but we are at the mid-late game. There is no way to change without completely breaking it. I still love overload even when it sucks. It just fun to play around, and for me, that's fine enough. The game and reaction are fun to play and watch. The game is easy that any reaction works (except shatter).

@@angeloguibone3401 It's because you can't really change how reactions work at this point, otherwise it could mess with the spenders in the community with how their characters may be affected. Realistically, all they can do now is either introduce newer combat mechanics (like they're going to do in Natlan) or build characters that are centered around specific reactions to boost their or others' dmg (Nilou, Chevreuse, Navia, and now Emilie).

​@@angeloguibone3401I believe the issue with superconduct is that it has incomplete teams for physical. We still don't have an off field physical dps nor really adequate physical supports for the physical dpses we have. Freminet is a solid phys dps at C6, but only at C6 really. He gets a solid team out of Furina as shatter provides dmg buff to him, so Fischl, Mika, and Furina make for a solid team for him. But in general, Mika atk speed boost is wasted on claymores but would be impressive on physical catalysts, poelarms, and bow users. Furthermore, we honestly lack actually good physical dps. We always get physical dps from cryo element, but none from electro beyond Razor. For physical to be strong, we would really need a physical dps that can deal true damage through shields, so basically a superconduct team where physical can clear through shielded enemies faster than those that don't have a counter element to the shield.

She is really compelling and it's obvious an off field dps will always retain it's value, not even talking about what is coming in synergy with natlan. That being said... Since her signature is such a crazy high difference in performance and I lack any real polearms to begin with... I am very undecided if she will be fun to me like that.

Emilie doesn’t deal Burning damage that much. She deals raw Dendro. Only uses burning mechanic to buff her damage more.

Yup. Emilie isn't a burning support, a character that makes burn good. She's a character with a teaming limitation, one that needs burning to work. And more like Chiori than Navia, as Navia can create her own crystals, while Emilie needs a second character to do her thing, much the same way Chiori needs a construct creator or a second geo (C1 Chiori) to fully use her damage potential.

Why not just go Nahida, Emilie, Bennett, and Xiangling? You get the Attack boost, the EM boost, Nahida's burning buff, Emilie's DPS thanks to burning, and the nonsense that Bennet & Xiangling bring. Or, if you want to use him (I can't stand him so I'm probably gonna use the other comp I mentioned) use Bennet & Thoma?

EM doesn't really do much for that team, because burn's damage isn't that big. So you're generally better off with Kazuha, for boosting the pyro damage, lowering its resists, and grouping up enemies (which also helps Emilie, as her lantern hits are a small AoE, so she's pretty much ST unless enemies are tightly grouped). Conversely, you can easily drop Xiangling or Nahida for Furina, who will melt off the burn, and actually benefits in a big way from Nahida's EM buff (if she isn't the one you replace), while boosting everyone's dmg. Basically, Xiangling's nonsense tends to depend on being able to leverage two of three big balance issues that Hoyoverse never fixed at the start of the game: Benny's attack buff being too big, no ICD on Xiangling's burst's elemental application, and vaporize's big multiplier being too big. If you aren't using at least two of those three, her value is considerably lower. And the team you're describing only uses one. That said, it'll probably get the job done. Will want C6 Benny so you can better utilize Emilie as your on-fielder, though, since she doesn't snapshot.

All I think is change is Xiangling for Thoma, to give a shield and pyro infusion to help proc burning. You still get the awesome ATK boost from pyro and the EM to help Nahida.

can you not slot an electro character in her team? Like lets say Arlecchino, Raiden/Fishl, Emilie + healer/shielder so it triggers burning but also Aggravate and Overload? or do you then not get enough burning anymore?

You most definitely can make a burn/overload team with Arlecchino. Not her best performing team but has ok burning uptime and works well with Zhongli for both res shred and shielding. Running a burn/overload/quicken team with something like Clorinde/Thoma/Emilie/Fischl is mostly where the burning uptime issues were found since you have 2 electro with 1 weak pyro applicator and 1 weak dendro applicator. I struggled to keep burning in multi-target scenarios similar to the Dehya + Emilie combo for burnmelt.

Primordial Jade-Winged Spear's passive cannot gain stacks when Emilie is off-field, and she's primarily an off-field character. While its base attack is high and its crit rate stat is nice, that's about all you're getting from the weapon.

To answer your question, I personally don't recommend it, her A2 passive caps at 2400 atk and you can easily reach that threshold with only atk sands and a lv90 weapon + A6 Emilie/a few atk substats here and there. ATK goblet seems like diminishing returns
