My evaluation is that they both loved each other, and they knew they did. But Lauren was scared of her emotions, of her sexuality. (Camilas song In The Dark). So they adored each other in private but when the mics or cameras turned on Lauren was a different person. Because she was scared, fear does that to you. But Camila still loved her and she knew that Lauren loved her, so she stayed strong. Held on. Waiting for Lauren. But eventually Camila decided she was done waiting, and that even though she wad in love with Lauren she "loved herself more" (end of Havana music video). It would kill her a little inside but she made the decision to better herself and let go. It hurt the both of them. Fast forward to the present, Lauren is finally comfortable in her own skin and wants Camila back. (Subtly) Kinda like an "Im ready now thing" but something is holding them back. Maybe it's their management, the fear if the past, thier new "relationships", which I'm not sure are real or not yet. But it doesn't seem that way. But the point is that they've had a rough ride bit I know that they still love each other. And Imma support both of them either way. If they're happy I'm happy. (That's just my analysis)

Camilas Jaguar YES I agree with the whole Camila holding onto Lauren. Also, I think it kinda hurts Camila every time Lauren denies her in public, I mean, it hurts when someone you love keeps denying you, almost seems like they're ashamed to be with you (obviously not, image /management/contracts/restrictions). You could CLEARLY see actions speak louder than words in Lauren, so many times she's agressively denied anything with Camila, but her actions don't match her words, she can't hold back in front of camera sometimes, the looks, touches, being protective etc. I agree with the end of the Havana MV, Camila puts details in everything, the guy (Lauren metaphorically) says "You love me", Lauren KNOWS and acknowledge Camila's love for her, and Camila saying "I do love you, but I love me more", I love how she didn't say "DID", because it means she still does love her, but obviously she chose to let go. The beginning of the Havana MV as well, it's literally about Lauren coming out of the closet for Camila. Lauren does want Camila back, in the days after the PR video of Camila & Ew making out, she liked a lot of IG posts of love and a post that talked about losing "her".

Sense of sensei I think all the girls are fine with each other, or at very least, now. Just because they don't interact in public or on their public social media accounts doesn't mean they don't keep in touch, they're all bound by contracts, so they may not be able to publicly interact. Also, in interviews, they can't reveal that they might still be in touch with Camila, because remember the drama created by the label, they would blow their cover.

This video made a lot of sense. Also, it ties well with an answer camila had given to a fan in a Q&A about her (the fan's) girlfriend not wanting to come out (I don't know if you're aware of that, if not you should check it out, it seems as if she's talking from personal experience). Anyways, great job here! As for our girls, I only wish for them both to be truly happy and gain at least their friendship back, if they could, because it seemed really special.

This is what and how I feel about Lauren and Camila..... I think that in the beginning they were really close friends but then Lauren started to have feelings for Camila. Camila wanted to explore so she gave in to some mutual feelings but then Camila didn’t know how to deal with her feelings and she strung Lauren along.... Lauren liked Camila but never really approached her and told her how she felt. Lauren had Lucy as an off and on hook up but nothing real serious. Camila wanted to explore so she tried to hook up with Lauren but Lauren wanted something more and Camila wasn’t willing to go farther. So they kinda flirted but not really dated cuz Camila didn’t really want to. But still wanted Lauren..... Lauren might have hit it a couple times but Camila didn’t let it progress cuz she wasn’t sure about her sexuality. She’s still not sure.... she’s still extremely confused.

I actually think Lauren's the one that's really confused with her sexuality and found it harder to accept moreso than Camila. Camila knew she liked girls in Only Told the Moon, she was also scared when she was exploring her sexuality but I think she became okay with it faster, like she's the type where if she loves someone, she won't care, she made it clear in 5H interviews of how she doesn't really like boys. Lauren was the one who struggled the most with her sexuality, remember the interview, she got defensive and almost angry people were saying she's bi or not straight and she was like how can you see that? lauren couldn't accept that she loves Camila more than friends. I'm pretty sure they did things that couples do in relationship but they never defined what their relationship was, it doesn't really matter, it was true romantic love between them whether it had a label on it or not. It was particularly hard since they were young and still exploring themselves and their relationship was tainted by this homophobic music industry and were also bound to contracts, so management had control of their actions in case it ruins their damage/the group's image which can result in less sales/less money from the girls. I definitely think Camila was the one who was okay with it all and was willing to risk whatever to be together but Lauren kept denying them in public but she felt the same way. Which is why I think Camila left the relationship, listen to SGG, she abandons someone in a relationship.

Anatasia Mela yes of course I respectfully speculate. I hate it when we speculate that Camila may not be straight and people call us disrespectful or forcing a sexuality upon somebody, but aren't they forcing the sexuality, straight, upon Camila? Even though it's the "default" sexuality, but she's given us sooo many hints she's more than just an ally and is actually part of the community. Just "speculating" but some people really need to think twice when we speculate Camila's sexuality as not srtaight when they keep saying we're forcing a sexuality on her (sorry for the rant, i know you didn't say anything about forcing sexuality, but that was on my mind in case someone says I'm "forcing" bisexuality or lesbian on Camila).

No no, of course I didn't say anything about your comments, there is nothing wrong with them, and I didn't take any offense. I only added that word because I've seen so many times online people that tag (is that the right word?) camila and lauren to camren related content, or comment under camila's posts about her sexuality and I'm so dissapointed and feel very bad for the girls, because why would you intentionally make them uncomfortable about such sensitive issues? I feel like their solo career is the only thing getting in the way of camren. And if it had to be between the two, the girls had to choose their solo career. That's what they've been working towards since they decided to audition on X factor, they've been through the shit they had to go through from Epic and this shitty music industry to get to starting their solo careers, their families made so many sacrifices etc. So it would be selfish for them to choose camren, because unfortunately, due to this homophobic entertainment industry, they can't have both. I don't think the girls would risk choosing between the two. This is why this whole situation is so sad, if only people can love who they want.

Sometimes we all get caught up with how much we want Camren to be revealed but do we ever take a minute to think how hurtful it is to them? Yes, they had a beautiful relationship but things don't turn out the way we want it to. Camila and Lauren are different people now and it seems like they hurted each other a lot due to trying to find themselves. I just hope they find happiness and love in life. Just a thought, I hope I'm not reaching, but remember Lauren's straight up denial of camren in Feb 2017, in the tweet where she says it was never real ever? I think she was hurt and angry Camila decided to leave the relationship, as she came out in Nov 2016, "ready" to commit. Also doesn't help when Lauren has to accept that Camila was done waiting on her, and Lauren (i guess) trying to move on, but fans keep commenting camren etc that reminds her of the heartbreak, that's probably why she snapped? It's a defence mechanism, she was trying to cope with the heart break imo (by saying it never existed/never real/nothing happened).

At this point, I just wish they will rekindle their friendship back. We can see how happy n carefree they were as friends n how bad it turned out now. They seem so stress and broken. Esp Camila. I used to be in that point where friendship turned into something more, but we never sure or called it official. It just feelings, we were teens and it was hard to hide from anyone when you're head over heels for someone. Same thing goes to them at the stage of 15-6 y/o. Confusion, denial but pure and innocent love. I lost contact with her for two years coz of miscommunication (which I think what camren is facing rn). But now we're friends again, and I'm thankful for having a real friend like her. The love/romantic feeling for her alr gone as I'm alr in relationship with my girlfriend who is totally understanding and love me wholeheartedly. The point is, sometimes life happens. You fell in love with someone, but it just doesn't work out no matter how hard you tried. We only see them on camera, we never knew what it's like behind the close door. Maybe it was toxic, maybe they were too immature or maybe they just can't handle the love and career at the same time. Watching camren now (2018) was like rewinding the good times with your ex. And worse, who is also your ex-best friend. It is painful to rewind all the good memories and realize that it's over, but people won't stop pushing you with it. They alr moved on, but they still can be friends. If camren relationship was toxic, then I wouldn't want it to happen again. Let them choose their love life. Let them be with whoever that makes them happy. Let them heal. When the time is right, they will meet again. When the fate said so, they might be friends again (I really wish for this). When love comes back, they might be together again, who knows. This is life, it's beautiful, painful and a reality. Sometimes life doesn't work the way we want or wish for. That's why we work hard and pray hard. But that's okay, we move on. Camren was real. Camren was a beautiful, innocent and complicated love story. But life happened. Camren was over. I have been kinda in this situation. Looking at the bigger picture, Lauren hasn't confirm her sexuality even before camren started. I'm late at this camren thingy. Only recently. But you know looking back at everything, part of the reasons why Lauren denied it maybe, i say MAYBE because of camren shipper took away their privileged of confirming their own sexuality and love life. I mean they were just 15 or 16 when it started right? We've all been there at that age. Aren't we're also still finding out about ourselves? So, MAYBE we took that privileged away from her and it affected her though.

I’m fairly new to the fandom. I’m not sure how I even came across “Camren” but somehow I did. I believe it was late 2017 when I did or maybe early 2018. But regardless of when I came across it. The second I clicked on the first video and saw the way these two girls looked at each other. I just knew that it was real. I don’t know how anyone can say those are just “friendly” looks cause I’m a girl who likes girls and I obviously have friends who are girls but I never ever look at them like that. Frankly, I don’t even look at my own girlfriend the way these two girls look at each other. There’s just so much evidence that it’s so hard to continuously deny it or come up with excuses. I have multiple theories but I do believe that both girls have/had feelings for each other. Now I don’t know if they ever actually ended up dating or if they just did what couples do in a relationship and never labeled it. But I do know it’s crystal clear that these two girls are/were in love.

It was up to them to confirm that and I think they might have if people weren’t so awful to them. Sometimes they would be just disrespectful to Lauren and camila but it makes you think why? Why is Lauren so particular about honesty tho when she has been the one that has been practically dishonest the whole time...saying camren wasn’t real inspite of the longing looks...the playfulness..the secret touches lol. So surprising what the cost of fame can actually do.these two ladies were together,they were in a relationship that didn’t last long and it was both their faults. Camila was dishonest at some point which hurt Lauren and probably doomed the relationship...Lauren wasn’t a saint either. I don’t think she ever dated Lucy...laucy was just an additional resume. Please take not that this opinion/interpretation was derived from their songs. It started like a game, Camila gave an invitation to Lauren to explore themselves, which she accepted. Camila had fallen for Lauren from the onset. Lauren was in denial from the get go, too busy smashing Camila and wasn't giving her anything in return nor promised to give any either(i.e. Relationship) but she wanted Control over Camila and infact got it. Camila perhaps yielded to her advisers or confidants to pull away from Lauren and a better way was to see other people particularly boys and that was, when her Daddy Lauren lost her shit and realized she had gone deep with Camila. Then, the dark side of Lauren surfaced and Camila suffered a great deal, she even lost weight, became depressed. Lauren's anger and pride just took over her. She wasn't getting any from Camila so, turned to Lucy to give her some. Yes, Lauren was perhaps set up to an extent by higher powers. Camila had no reason to stay hence, ended her contract a year early. Yes, Lauren doesn't cheat but that didn't mean that Camila didn't have rivals, even Normani was a threat to her and if Lauren was not giving her concrete assurance and to crown it all, denied her. Come on, that was enough to say bye bish.

for me, I think camren was real. but Lauren wasn't ready to come out to the world yet, and Camila wanted to really fight for them but Lauren's just not having it. also, the fact that they're having troubles exploring who they really are just adds to that mess. plus the expectations (camren shippers, management, etc) that has been put on their shoulders are really pressuring. so I think they just gave up fighting. but I do think that at some point today, they've come to terms that it was worth the fight and they stayed friends or acquaintances. there was a lesson learned. maybe we should just accept the fact that camren is already over. and if it isn't real, well then, okay. It’s so funny how they say that it’s over, but their song talks about each other , all camila albums talks about Lauren and Lauren’s songs too. I just think that since Lauren is such a private person she didn’t want the attention of the media.. I mean these days the media will do anything to create drama in a relationship so maybe she was afraid of possibly losing camila? Plus who wants their relationship to be a reality tv show anyways. I’m still on this ship, even if we have almost no passengers on board left, even if we are lost in a foggy ocean right now, EVEN IF WE HAVE SUNK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN, I will still believe that Camren was at one point real. If not then at least that at one point either Camila, Lauren or both of them had feelings for the other. You might ask why I don’t give up on holding onto the hope of Camren even if it’s completely “dead” and my response is that when I saw the interactions between Camren, it was the first time that I could really say “wow that’s true love. I think they thought they were like intense bff's, but with really strong sexual and romantic attraction they didn't realise (or they felt was normal to part of a friendship). They thought camren was very funny at first. Like any bff's that you tell they look like a couple when it's either clearly not so or no one is homophobic. Then it's just a funny thing, a measure of the intensity of the friendship. But then they got tired and annoyed with it. Maybe they felt they could hold or look at each other anymore without everyone making it awkward. Maybe they were just romantically and not sexually attracted (doubt it), or just made out and experimented a bit and decided they rather be just friends. Just like straight couples in bands, it's a huge risk you ruin the relationship or get tensions in the band. Especially as the band (to most opinions) was a ticking timebomb from the moment it was formed. The bad management and the others standing in the shadow of lauren and camila already created tensions, that must be awkward for everyone. I always hates the sexualisation of the band, sometimes even reducing five great vocalists to background-singer-strippers to a bunch of loser rappers with no talent except being branded as cool. From the start they were held back just like any girl/boy band, to all be replaceable. Two or three voices can really synergize and make a band special. More just makes each stand out less. I think they were played against each other, so (the inevitable) going solo would be seen as disloyalty to the band. This alone might have ruined what was left of camren...

hey guys, i know they look so cute together, and from all the staring, they were probably together in a secret relationship at some point, but maybe they were still uncomfortable about coming out at that point, and they're families or friends finding out that they were together would get them in trouble. Well, it's 2020 now & I believe that by this time they had amended the past. Both, I think, realized, that it is not only they need each other energy to support their solo endeavor but they need each other to walk the path of self-healing. The most vulnerable one is actually Lauren, in term of ego barriers and insecurity led to co-dependency; but Lauren has strengths in kindness & compassion/her ability to love. Camila, her mirror partner has stronger backbone. She knows what she want, she is focus & determinant; but she often flees from feeling too much for fear that it may impede her walking forward. However, as I said, I think during their separation mode/phase they have learnt to understand themselves & embrace their weaknesses and open their door for their counterpart to enter. In another word, they agree to help each other healing - not by being apart - but being together (& personally I think, that's the best way). I hope one day, we can see Camren's wedding bell.

I do believe that they had strong feelings for one another but whether they were romantic or platonic is not my place to decide. However, I don't think that Camila left because of the situation with Lauren. Camila was always set up to become a solo act (they all were but Camila was pushed more) so her leaving the group would have happened regardless. I sometimes feel as though Camren was started by management to gain fans in the beginning but it got out of hand. Not saying that it's fake but I think their relationship was pushed because management noticed how well One Direction was doing and a part of that success was the Larry ship. But that's just a theory and I just hope they find happiness.

I think that I was one of the people that pushed them away ,even though I started to ship them a couple days ago, they don't like titles or names on them and that is what we did and it is not right and not fair for them. I think that people can still ship them and just know that it is never gonna happen and respect that they don't want to be pushed into doing anything. All the things that they have done was protected because of what people were saying. If they hold hands with people seeing people would say something about them that is not a friendly matter. But little do you know that friends as close as they were can hold hands and hug each other without being assumed or accused of being apart of something that is not there. I also think fifth harmony would have taken camila's exit more nicely because they were already getting pushed away because of what fans were saying. What we did effected the whole group and now I am pretty sure that they will never have a good relationship with each other unless they see things easily and will ease up and stop calling them what they are not. We pressure them, I thought fifth harmony was gonna last forever with camila included but all of us thought wrong and possibly ruined a lot of people's life's because of how many fans they had together.
