I am a Red Sox fan and he should be banned like Peter Rose was. The guy cheated other teams and the Yankees with all his suspensions.

I totally get your perspective, especially as a Red Sox fan. A-Rod’s mistakes were serious, but he’s also one of the most talented players the game has seen. I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts!

@@StanSwan That’s a great question. PEDs certainly play a role, but even with them, you still need incredible skill to hit the ball, make plays, and handle the pressure. It’s a complicated situation for sure!

@@GameinHistory My point is we can never know that for sure. A-Rod was also a dirty player. I can't watch when he is in the booth doing games but to be fair they all never shut up in the post season now. If you watch a World Series from the 1970s they call the game and do not give their life stories. I really could not care less how their ride to the park or hotel room was. I am watching the World Series not "This is your life".

@@StanSwan I totally get what you’re saying, and you’re right we’ll never know for sure how much PEDs played a role. As for the broadcasting, I can see why the storytelling style isn’t for everyone. A lot of people miss the simpler days of just calling the game. Thanks for sharing your thoughts I really appreciate your perspective!
