@@bagofrats3464 quite the opposite... The lack of competition in bundesliga hurt bayern rhythm in UCL hence bayern always have injury crisis in crucial UCL game. Team like bayern always perform better under competitive circumstances. When there's strong competition in bundesliga like klop's dortmund bayern are push to the limit. This is also true to la liga, wherever there's strong competition between real Madrid and Barcelona one of them thrive in Europe.

Bayern had some embarrassing defeats in the UCL namely 2014 to Madrid, 2015 to Barcelona and again Madrid who btw had the referee on their side in 2017. Other than those moments Bayern are known to be extremely difficult to beat. They always improve no matter how successful they are in Europe. The set the bar very high 15 consecutive wins in the UCL is unheard of and won't be broken in probably 50 years time.

In 2015 Bayern won their home game against barca. They were tied in points. That was a typical defeat nothing embrassing. The home game in 2014 against Real was relative embrassing but it was the first year under Guardiola. Dude is holding his teams back for a decade in the ucl. No really spectacular defeats tbh.

At some point people should realize that Bayern isn't even buying every good player in the Bundesliga. Dortmund is buying way more players from rival clubs than Bayern is. Bayern hasn't bought a player from Dortmund since Götze/Lewandowski back in 2013 and Lewys contract was up, so he would have left no matter what. I don't think they bought a player from Leverkusen since 2002. Even if they did, usually Bayern only goes for those players that would leave anyway, so at least they're keeping them in the Bundesliga. The problem is not Bayern. It is the other clubs never being consistent. Even when Bayern sacked Kovac and Ancelotti after 7 or 8 games it was enough to win the league. This has nothing to do with money or buying players from other teams.

Also you forgot the coach. Too bad, we only had to get him, because we lost our coach to the national team. Bayern isn't doing anything that other teams aren't doing as well. Bayern is at the top of the food chain in Germany, so it is only natural to buy the best players. Most of them turn out to be youngsters and more often then not they don't even buy from other German teams. So what is the big deal? Bayern weakening the competition is nothing but an excuse that some of these teams use to hide their own shortcomings. After all it is much easier to blame it on Bayern than admitting you own mistakes. Where is all the money that Dortmund made over the last couple of years? What about Leverkusen? Bayern haven't poached their players for almost two decades and they make money in the CL more often than not.

The number one reason why every national league (except the prem) turns into a "farmers league" is the champions league. Take Bayern for example. They will always get Top 4 and play in the champions league and that leads to a lot of money. But theres a problem: because of all the money they get from the champions league, they will again be in the top 4. Our current system is a cycle that feeds the top teams, while the rest of the league gets nothing. Most teams that were back then often in the champions league are still today the biggest Clubs in europe

The reason why is because the 50+1 rule that keeps the “integrity” of the Bundesliga is the same rule that keeps Bayern in their all powerful position. They’ve won 9 Bundesligas in a row now and are on course to win their 10th in a row this season. Since Bayern are already firmly entrenched as the richest club in German football no other teams such as Dortmund, RB Leipzig, etc will be able to overtake them in the long run.

I’d say something structurally has to change that allows the other teams in the bundesliga more money for wages, transfers and whatever else so they can keep some of their good players and they aren’t forced to sell. Dortmund and Leipzig in the last few seasons have sold sancho, and many before him to more rich clubs, Werner to Chelsea, sabitzer, nagglesman, upamecano, to Bayern. Obviously Bayern have just been amazing this past decade, but if other clubs have a better chance of keeping their best players then maybe it’ll be more competitive. Then again that’ll probably give more of an advantage to Bayern so who knows.

Did you watch the game? Other than the first goal (which is just unreal) they were playing really good, pressing Bayern, not letting them control the game, forcing long passes, then Bayern stepped on the gas and started passing on first touch, pivoting and making triangulations everywhere. The only thing Leverkusen did wrong was being brave and trying to be themselves, as Frankfurt showed last time, Bayern are unplayable but can be beaten if you park the bus and get lucky enough.

I think it’s the simplest answer, better players and way more money. Not only do they strengthen but they can buy players from their closest competition easily and have done so frequently in the past. The problem is money. FO from Leverkusen said they couldn't sign a defender they wanted to because he chose a relegation EPL club over them. Relegation-tier EPL teams make more money than the top 4 Bundesliga teams not-named Bayern or BVB. Bayern has the money to deal with this. Others don't, so they can't improve enough to make it a difference. The disparity between the top clubs & everyone else only grows.

Dortmund make big sales on these young players, but they rarely, if ever, reinvest it back into the club, because management doesn't care about winning. They sold Dembele for 110 million euros, and what did they do with that money? Nothing. They do great on scouting and signing future stars, but are not interested in being a competitive club. If Bayern wants your player, you charge them a high price, and improve your club with that money. But Dortmund doesn't do that. They'll sell Halaand and do nothing with that money-just goes to Watzke and the shareholders.

The Bundesliga is a very unique league. Teams don't mind selling to Bayern, that too at pretty reasonable fees. You'll never see that in the EPL and when small clubs do, they usually make them overpay for the players. Which is why EPL is the best league in the world.

Bundesliga is simply build for bayern, especially 50+1 rules which make no investor would be able to buy german club. No investor mean no money so other club cant compete with bayern and they were forced to sell their best player to bayern. So other german club is basically Kindergartens to raise young player, after they mature enough they will move to bayern. Other german club will have no chance unless bundesliga change its regulation. If bayern compete in EPL or la liga i dont think they will dominate it like they dominate bundesliga Its the same with PSG, they gap between PSG and other french club is very huge. It make ligue 1 less competitive and easy to predicted. The different is PSG rich because the owner, but bayern rich because of the system.
