I'm from eastern Europe. They want to push EV's but they are extremely unaffordable, we don't even get incentives. People get 600-800€ salary yet these cars cost more than 30k€. Until something actually affordable shows up EV progress will be just a luxury to the rich.

The styling and details, especially the dash and info panels are quite attractive. It is small practical EV's like this that the world needs now. EV adoption would rise dramatically if most countries would allow these to be available to consumers. With the range of the premium model it is more than a urban vehicle. I could drive from my rural area to the big city 125-miles away. It wouldn't be a terribly comfortable drive like in my BMW, but I used to drive my old 50's & 60's VW Bug for hundreds of miles to as much as the entire west coast(U.S.A.). And still drive my Miata /MX5 hundreds of miles so it wouldn't be that onerous on a long trip even at my advanced age(76). Hope we can get these practical little world EV's Stateside or in Mexico.

Pedals on the right side is actually quite welcome, because I don't see how you can operate brakes with you left foot. With only two pedals, you may think it is a good idea to move one to the left for your left foot, but it is not. We don’t have good public transportation system in US, our cars have to fulfill those long distance travel so cars need to be big to carry our overweight bodies, supersize stuff and a lot of horsepower to go fast and climb those hilly roads. I live in LA, nobody walks here, you will get robbed or shot walking on the wrong street, so driving a big fast car like a tank is a safety thing.

Definitely a few airbags, but I don't have any crash test data for this car yet. Not old enough for battery cycle info. Service networks really depend on where you buy it, I can't give you that for every country. And no, not likely in the bin in 10k unless you're not a great driver and end up there.

This car would be perfect in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. I never drive faster than 45mph or more than 60 miles per day. Edit: The speed limit is 35mph and I usually drive about 10 miles per day.

@@InsideChinaAuto We have our share of potholes, but it's not horrible. The Suzuki Forsa was popular here back in the 80's and 90's and the Toyota Yaris is popular now. How does the Bingo compare? Sounds like it's a similar size.

Binguo and Air EV - Long range for 20k usd 😂. Non sense. But the most problems with EV here is electrification infrastructure. Almost all house can use maximal from 800W-1100W for all house. You need more,you must upgrade your el.meter for big money-3 phase tarif not exists for family house. Public charger=almost 0. And when they have, they just charge 11kw on AC, 22kw on DC. Really just joke. But for local people's EV is non sesne just now. Because you can buy 7 Seater MPV Toyota Avanza (Veloz) for just 10k usd. With 1.5 VVTi engine and automatic transmission.

This is real good. MG/Wuling should have brought this into Indian instead of the Wuling Air as the MG Comet. This would have been accepted more in India than the Wuling air. India is not ready for 2 door cars yet. But this seems like a big car in terms length. The air is a bit overpriced in India.

@toyotaprius79 It'll probably be half decent but wouldn't expect too much. Certainly the choppy ride was the main deficit I noticed on poor surfaces but handling is never easy to test in China without the right road.

I think I’ll wait and see, got a feeling something this cheap is for a reason I may be proved wrong but I highly doubt it. They’ll most likely be e-waste within 10 years of being brought, the replacement battery will probably be half as much as the car.

The reason wuling bingo only cost $9000 us dollar is because chinese labor cost is so cheap. If wuling bingo car are manufacture in usa or western europe, it will cost alot more than $9000. But i like the wuling bingo, you cannot buy a better car for same amount of money.

Id love this in the US, but the smallest/cheapest ev in the US has now been discontinued so it's all expensive crossovers, SUV's, and trucks in the US. Proves how much the ones in charge in the US dont want ev's.
