Petula Clark is the Number One Female Vocalist Of ALL TIME. Her spectacular interpretation of this wonderfully powerful song showcases her immense talent. Yes of course there have been other Wonderful and excellent singers (Dusty,Sandie,Lulu,Durham,Francis ect)in our generations but Petula has that extra special "spark" to her voice and her terrific understanding of how a song should be put over to the audience.Also her commanding stage presence just outshines anybody else. PETULA is the BEST.

As a lifelong fan of Petula and knowing what a world class entertainer she really is for other people to recognise this too is fantastic. There is but one question about her career that I can not understand for the life of me. Yes she as been honoured with a CBE but SURELY she is in line for a much deserved DAMEHOOD. Isn't she? Of course she is.
