They need to do rerun...a lot of girlies who joined later missed a lot of cards of their LI...also as a low spender myself i think it's quite difficult for f2p girlies to gather red diamonds as we don't have enough sources to gather those..and those outfits..they need to do something about those also..

This is upsetting to see. The production team is awesome. If all this is true, the planning team needs to be fired / replaced. But if the planning team consists of executives and affluent people, it may be an impossible task. We see this throughout the gaming space (EA Games, Blizzard, etc ) where talented people (such as LADS' production team) get held back by greedy executives and CEOs. The players have to stand together and discipline Infold. I humbly suggest that everyone keeps their money in their pockets until this situation clears and we get more information. Because if all this is true, then the game really won't have very long to live. They'll just pocket the money, be extremely lazy with the game, and use it to fund other projects -- which is unfair to all of us who either spent on or supported the game as an "investment" in order to receive better content in the future. I really hope this story ends with the players winning. CN girlies, please hang in there! Production team too! 😢🙏 And I really wish we will get a dev team and publisher like Kuro Games who has genuine passion for the otome genre and respect for the players someday. In InFold's case, respect won't be given to us unless we earn that respect ourselves. We have to be vocal AND speak with our wallets.

I feel like they’re putting their eggs in the wrong basket, if they really are funneling the earnings from LADS into Nikki. Nikki is a good game but I don’t feel like their monetization system is good (once you have a pretty dress, you aren’t super encouraged to get other pretty dresses). LADS isn’t amazing either (you can watch the memories on YT and a 5* card doesn’t really make your team stronger compared to another 5*, even from standard banner) but they have the power of simping on their side, which Nikki doesn’t. I feel Nikki should’ve released as a complete game for a console, like the open world Zelda games were

I have to disagree about the animators caring about the game. LAD's animation team is laaaazyy. Even for hot cards like Nightly Rendezvous, the animations are full of flaws. Not to mention every event story line when you talk, they just recycle the same old animations, the animations don't match the dialogues at all. The VAs are doing 90% of the job

I uninstalled Genshin to come to LADS because of the bullshit that was happening there where all the male characters are being shafted and disrespected and sidelined in favor of more waifu slop. It is upsetting to hear Gacha corporate greed and misogyny is prevalent everywhere. What is even more triggering is that they literally have a golden goose in their hands, so, it'll be the stupidest decision to not invest in this golden goose by giving us more content. The market is flooded with male targeted gacha, and there is a whole untapped market of female players that are starving for quality games and are eager to hop onto the first train that is willing to cater to us. I believe what LADS need right now is competition. The same way genshin needed their revenue threatened before they finally decided to make the QOL changes that their players had always asked for. With the global impact that LADS made, I hope it won't be long before other companies attempt to follow suit without all this bullshit pay walling if the leaked news is true. I will not fault the CEO for trying to exploit this market because he recognized there is a supply shortage on a high demand and LADs is the first game that brought something new to the otome genre. However, I do hope that this would open doors in the future for more games like LADS to be produced so all of us consumers can benefit from it. And to add, I think the monetization strategy of this game is rather weak from a long term perspective. The key appeal of the limited cards are the stories (they are amazing by the way), but they can also be viewed over at youtube for free. If they really wanted to make this game last, then they have to further develop the combat system and implement meta where limited cards contribute to end game modes in a significant way. Spice and fluff will eventually get stale once the player base know what to expect. The two biggest things I believe players will stick around for is 1.) good lore and 2.) meta and gameplay (predatory, yes, but this will secure rerun value, because even if a player watches the card on youtube, they will not be able to get the card effects unless they have the card on their accounts) And with how much revenue this game has already made, I find it baffling that this isn't on their agenda. Maybe they just don't trust how much female players actually care about combat oriented gameplay, but one of the biggest reasons that made me start genshin was the unique elemental interactions and all the team comps I can draft with my units. I like to see colors and numbers go boom. And one of the biggest reasons why I came to LADs is because it's one of the few otome games that actually has hack and slash style combat. But compared to a lot of existing gacha that targets the male players, the combat in LADs seem a little surficial because it doesn't feel like event 5* actually adds anything to my teams on top of matching colors. And for that, I fear for the longevity of this game if they do not plan to further develop end game content.

I think the devs are mainly counting on the simp factor to sustain LaDS. Just as it has mainly sustained all the other otome games. :) I think most otome players are story focused. Paper Games probably had battle mode in LaDS as a novelty and to attract other players. The battling may develop more in the future though.

At the core of most gachas that's the point of collecting cards, as such I was surprised that love and deep space cards had so little kit. And I don't think that will be hard to implement either, since they already have a battle system. They just need to add more words to card effects to make them unique and create more combat modes that will reset monthly / bimonthly that players can grind for and build their teams towards (i.e., like the end game modes in genshin and HSR where the mobs would have different abilities and resistances, and cycles each patch) . And at present moment they also have a foundation for this type of game play to be present in the abyssal chaos and Hunter contest. They are already excelling at the lore front, and the fact that they're not doing more makes me wonder where are our simp money going to? :( I hope it is not true that they are pumping the money we spend to support this game into other projects like the leak has mentioned. Because that is simply upsetting.

If this is true, then this is another example of corporate greed. I broke my f2p status and renewed the Aurum Pass a couple of times because of Sylus myth. But I will definitely go back to my f2p status if this continues on. These greedy *ss men think that us Sylus girlies will keep on spending money. But they need to be hit hard with falling revenue if this goes on. I'm on the CN girlies' side, and I hope the CN community and the production team comes out with a win, even if it is difficult due to the circumstances.

Thank you for the update! It's really disappointing to hear how this is unfolding with the 1st anniversary event happening and with Caleb coming soon. I've been playing since release and put in a decent amount of money in LaD just to get the cards that I wanted. When I first found out about the game, I was surprised how PG had pushed the otome genre in a whole new direction and I wanted to support that so other companies can breakout of their "comfort zone" of just being a 2D visual novel. I'll be looking forward to more updates to this situation.

Every event they have there's large crystal log in bonuses, 100-200 crystal you can earn for each new level cleared in the event (and there's usually at least 14 ish levels) we get 1k crystal every 7th day of a new month, ads you can watch every day for 100 crystal total... plus a bunch of other things. Big part of why I still play it because they're good to their players for the most part.

i'm going to wait for the official livestream to make my judgment but although these are are just rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if said rumors had truth to it. i've always had the feeling that sylus feels much more like a P2P character than the others and it had nothing to do with him being new. he was literally released into the game with less than half of the standard base content the others were released with and people used to say that it was because he was new. however, that excuse never made sense in the first place because, once again, we're talking about STANDARD PERMANENT BASE content, not the limited content. now we're half a year into his release and they still haven't given him more standard content and it's crazy to think about that a half a year later, he has less than 50% of the standard content the OG3 had AT LAUNCH. yet, i still see people somehow trying to defend papergames/infold and still use the "he's new" excuse... when will people understand that this is not about him coming into the game later? we're talking about them intentionally giving him less standard base content and then baiting his fans with FOMO by releasing the missing 4 star cards behind a paywall so that his fans pay. once again, we know all of this could just be a rumor but tbh it wouldn't surprise me if it were true because it genuinely feels like that's what they've been doing with sylus because ever since his release the game's revenue has skyrocketed and his myth banner is as of now the highest grossing banner in LaDS history, surpassing quad banners. it's just wild to think that the higher ups saw that his banners sell well and that his fans are willing to pay for his content and would decide to gatekeeping his STANDARD BASE content when they gave it for free to the others. it's unfair and outragerous to think about this being true so i'm really hoping that all of this just ends up being a rumor because even though i love sylus, i refuse to spend more money on this game if any of this is revealed to be true. milking sylus fans in particular and making them pay for content that others were given for free at launch is insane to me. they never announced that sylus was supposed to be a premium character so why are they treating him as such by withholding his content and making fans pay for things that should've been given out for free when he released? papergames has always had very predatory gacha systems/practices and even the CEO has admitted before that he creates games for women not because it's his passion to do right by women or anything but rather because it makes them money. i just feel bad for the devs/production team because they're probably passionate about their work and overworked while the higher ups only care about how much money they will make.

@@vivivivi8215 no problem, so since sylus was released, a lot of 5 stars memories were released, but the issue is they're almost all limited (which means you need to participate to the limited event, so if you download the game after the event ends you're cooked and it's not in the permanent wishing pool at all) like the memory where he's tied up (forgot the name lol) and misty invasion, etc which are like super interesting memories but unfortunately can't be available for new players right now. And as for the myth(which is like a whole story with 8 parts, I believe) they're actually unlockable if you get at least one memory from a pair. You get the combat outfit as a bonus if you get both memories. For the last myth that was released for sylus, we had 2 WEEKS to get the pair. Infold said both of them won't be available in the permanent wishing pool for some reason, even though it had important pieces of lore from sylus' past. So if you're a new player you can get only 5 5-stars memories of sylus from the permanent wishing pool. Compared to the other characters, it's really nothing. All the other characters have the same situation regarding the myths btw, but I feel like it's even worse for sylus since we already have so little content for him to begin with. I hope you understand everything now 🙏 I wouldn't be complaining about the 5-stars memories if we could have had other ways to learn about the lore, which is the thing that attracted me to this game first of all (sorry for the yapping, tell me if that answered ur question lol)

And even if the post ISN’T true, all the complaints about Sylus’s lack of content are still completely valid and I can’t imagine a reason for it at this point other than corporate greed. It should be addressed regardless, because if they’ll do it to Sylus, they’ll do the same to Caleb and any of the other LIs as long as they can get away with it. Obviously, companies tend to be greedy. I have no illusions about that. But this post conveys such a blatant disrespect toward the game and its player base that I’m genuinely considering waiting to give it another dime until I get a better idea of how this is going to pan out. Why should I invest my money into a game if the people in charge don’t even care about making sure we get to see it through to the end? It’s such a shame because you can really feel the care put into these characters, stories, visuals, and music. When 90% of content was put behind the pay wall in MR.Love Qeens Choice, and then the voice acting was kept for payed content only, I stopped paying for monthly pass and become from low spender to F2P. Those excuses that they are doing it to keep the game up und running I find ridiculous, since they are paying their voice actors really low $$$🙄. So the conclusion for me is, in Mr. Love, it took I think 4 or 5 years to do that… I do strongly think, that in Love and Deep Space they want to do it way quicker…or at least it certainly looks like it. People don’t really realize something, think positively, have a blind trust, ignore the red flags and in the end when it bites them, they are really surprised by the outcome. It happened in Love Nikki, it happened in Shining Nikki and in Mr.Love…it is very probable to happen in Love and Deep Space as well. It’s really sad, I was waiting for this game for years, the first trailer dropped a few months after the global release of Mr. Love and that game is 6 years old this year, but still has every 3 months released new story content…I thought this game will be on the 3-4 months update as well story wise. I do hope and cross my fingers for fellow Chinese players that they do win this battle for all of us, global players, sice they are basically mostly funding the whole game at this point.

The global girlies are 90% of women who either never played Paper’s others game or never played gachas to begin with and that why they are totally oblivious to what’s coming at them. Those who have played Paper’s older games know how stingy and Predatory they are, I’d go as far to say that compared to old Nikki games, Infinity’s Gacha is comparatively forgiving. Point is: global girlies will soon find out how just as bad Paper is, they don’t give af about women’s interest, they are just capitalising on the lack of other quality otome, I wish Hoyo releases a high quality Otome soon to counter Lnd, ToT is a fart in the wind compared to Lnd. At least if healthy competition exists then Paper can behave, right now they are behaving as an unruly child on steroids.

I just thought you might want to know this I've done some research on my own I think you might want to know this Over 70% of Papergames' employees are women, which is why their Nikki series, MLQC and LnD are so successful, they know what women themselves likes - Yao Runhao's wife is also working in the company as a creative director, however we don't know what games she is working on. - He once said that even he does not understand woman entirely, so he leaves it to the women employees to do what appeals to their taste

The company needs a bit of restructuring. They marketed the game for females but seeing that they look down on girls was so heart breaking. But to think that they used LADS resources to their other game wasn't right. Its not like I don't like infinity nikki (I've been playing infinity nikki as F2P)but I just hope they dont use resources the LADS has with their other game. This is so well said. When I saw Infinity Nikki’s launch I just knew the developers must be facepalming themselves. Infinity Nikki, A FREE ROAM GACHA, got 20 mil on launch whereas Lad got 75 mil in December alone, at that point I think they realised that they invested in the wrong game. They should taken the free roam approach with Lad and made Infinity Nikki a cozy smaller card game, this using Lad revenue to built Infinity Nikki is completely wrong. They are treating their fangirls as cash cows

I think you should show me the source of the 90 mil you claimed it earnt because so far I only saw 20 mil everywhere :/ Lad was 40+ mil on launch months, you’d have to be lying if you say Lad isn’t doing better than IN and it’s super tell tale because how fast devs are updating IN patches and maps, within 1 month, they’ve already pushed 2 version updates. What i hate about this game is, they just not gonna let the card re-run in normal pull (I mean the limited card) but they also let the memory just sit on our collection and I feel like being mocking that I can't have Sylus memory 100%. And what happen to new player, they will lost so much to collect the limited memory because some of them just can play the game now of just find it now. I don't know how the game is present back then but I feel like this game will slowly fall because we will feel like this is waste of money. This game only can attract the female games because of the spicies banner. Look at some of the part like Abyssal Chaos, some player already got the max reward and we will be not interesting in that part anymore. It suppose to reset at least, At least, like half year so we can get something to farming a dias. For the older player, farming dias is hard because what happen if you already max everything, You will be hard to pull because you don't have anything to farming and need you used real money for it. I started after Sylus came into the game and i only really played for him. (i like raf but ik with a gacha id only be able to afford one) and being focused on him i spend money to make sure i pull his cards bc im a collector and have extra money. this is so disheartening because coming from genshin, it felt like the company actually cared and put effort into content and the game. Which honestly, I still believe that they do on a writing standpoint because theres too many parallels and things that connect that really dont have to but they do. BUT because i was focused on sylus and never really paid attention to the others i mostly just wrote off his lack of content as oh its bc hes new. but now with caleb about to come and sylus not having any new standard cards and most of his cards and lore locked behind a paywall im sad to say my first thought was "wait. now that theres another guy im going to get even less sylus content." which honestly will most likely be true because with the promise caleb most likely will be on the one after this month. the one would usually be raf and sylus, but now caleb most likely will move sylus out. and even if raf gets moved out, it fucks over those girlies too (and itd be his birth month too!) im hoping this isnt true but even if it isnt, theres a lot of issues with how the system and story works, and i also think thats why everyone still mischaracterizes sylus so much BECAUSE all of his content is locked. im in distress.

I saw all of this unfold live on Twitter and it really disappoints me. I know there are always people who will pay for content but there has to be limits. This is basically exploiting the players knowing the emotional attachment people have to it. It’s unfair to not have all characters with equal content. It’s a slippery slope to many more things behind a paywall. I do spend money in game but I don’t like feeling like these execs are pretty much spitting in our faces. It’s always been difficult being a Sylus girl but this is crossing a line. A constant barrage of conflict follows him and his fans. People shouldn’t feel the need to empty their wallets due to FOMO. Especially since they’ve made no mention of future reruns of cards.

Wow....As a CN speaker, I did not see these on XHS community and just start to see it from your video. It looks disappointing. I bet this info are going out on Weibo where I do not participate much. But after all, I think we should be cautious about the "leaks" as the source of information is not verified. These things happen too when other game companies use "competition strategy" through online public opinion in China. And the statement of CEO (Yao RH) has little say in the game is suspicious too. He participated in the background story setting of LaDS and asked to redo the original character modeling of LI , as was also said by insiders short after the game became popular. And now LaDS is one of the most giant cash cows of the company. As far as I know, Yao's share is not diluted too much. It is over 50% and his wife nearly 10%, and Papergame is not a listed company. So, let's support the CN community in this battle and always hope for better solutions.

I think its been blown out of proportion. Unlike their other games the production cost is so so high. Working on 3D is much more expensive. You HAVE to take that into consideration. As for the sylus content, they will probably also release more content at the 3.0 like they did for all other LI during the last update. Don't forget that he was extremely leaked out before they were even thinking about it even his myth was leaked a month ahead of it. Infold are as bad as any other gacha otome, I think majority have not experienced other otome gacha games that are complaining. I think until we know for sure what is happening with 3.0 we need to put down the pitchforks. I do not believe that person is an insider, if they were truly that greedy they would be like that with their other game series. Out of all the gacha games they have infinity nikki is the most f2p friendly and also has more active users than this game. They would not risk their other IPs for this. People just don't understand that its an expensive game to make, more expensive than any other gacha otome ever made and thats what we the consumer pay for.

Realistically, they wouldnt just come out with 10 Sylus cards all in one banner or something to try to compensate for the lack of Sylus cards right now, but for sure they wont stop releasing content for him especially knowing how many people came back/joined the game due to Sylus. It would just take a bit longer especially as they add more LIs but thats whats expected when LIs are all introduced at different times. @@blackhole4248 how many times do people have to explain that these complaints are about STANDARD BASE CONTENT. this is not about the content sylus missed out on for being added later and much less limited content. i don't mean to come off as aggressive but it's frustrating to see comments like this time and time again with people not understanding what people are complaining about. sylus fans don't want papergames to just focus on him and suddenly release a bunch of sylus content to make him catch up to the others, it has never been about that. these complaints are over the fact that in terms of standard base content, he was released with less than half of the content the OG3 were released with. just to put some things into perspective, when the game launched, the OG3 had by default 40-ish standard cards in the permanent wish pool, 3 anecdotes, 2 bond stories as well as other minimal stuff that i won't be mentioning because i'm just trying to put things into perspective so that you get why people are complaining. when sylus was released, they gave him 17 standard cards in the permanent wish pool (which is less than half of what the OG3 were given when they released), only 1 anecdote and 1 bond story as well as other things he's still missing. now, half a year after his release nothing has changed. once again, the other guys had all that content available by default since the game's launch, it's not something that took time for them to get, it was always there. so why are they making sylus fans wait half a year for that content? why did they gave him less cards in the permanent pool? is that fair? i don't think it is. CN sylus girlies have directly contacted costumer service multiple times about this and get some sort of answer to at least know why they gave sylus such little standard base content because it's very hard to main sylus, raise his affinity and do combat when on top of him being "newer" he was given limited content as well. papergames never addressed the issue, never explained why they did this nor gave them any updates on their plans for sylus regarding this. once again, we're not talking about limited content he missed out on for being released later, no one is complaining about that and no one cares because naturally people understand that if he was added later he missed out on banners and events. the issue is that they gave him less than half the standard base content they gave the others (when the others had all this content when the game released by default) and now, 6 months later, we still have no updates about his standard content. of course they could announce something for this during the 3.0 livestream so we should wait and see but the complaints about them giving sylus less standard base (free) content are valid and it's unfair, no matter how you look at it. it has nothing with him being new or added later, they simply chose to withold his content for whatever reason (most likely to try to put it behind a paywall but we should wait and see). once again, please don't take my comment the wrong way, i'm just a bit tired of seeing people calling sylus fans "entitled" for asking for fairness. it seems like a lot of people are either misunderstanding the complaints or acting obtuse.

Guys, I'm not trying to defend anyone here. But I've been playing gatch Otome for 9 years and tried many things. This game is REALLY expensive to make with these 3D models. Up until now Otome games were 2D. And you know what's funny? In Japanese Otome games you need to spend far more money to just get the bare minimum this game offers you for free. For examples, the event stories. You can easily read all the stories from boys and even save them. But in Japanese Otome games maybe you can complete one story before the event ends. If you want all of them you HAVE TO PAY! Don't get me started with the cards. You basically have no resources and there's really limited ways to farm diamonds, if no way at all. You actually have to pay every time if you want to get even one card and you can't even choose which one you want. The clothes, backgrounds, premium story choice, birthday sets, stories from his point of view and so onnn you have to PAY for them. And the quality is not even as good as LAD. Love and deepspace got me surprised with how player friendly they were. I thought i can breath while playing. Still I know like any other company, they're greedy. But compared to the other gacha games I played, this one, with such a high quality and more friendly than the others had my heart.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. Gacha games are made to monetize damn near everything. And execs being greedy/not caring about anything but profits they can wring out of players? With the exception of Wuthering Waves, ( that I know of) it seems to have become an unfortunate toxic trait of Gacha related games. They all seem to be taking a page or two out of games like Genshin Impact to be super exploitative of players. For the longest time Genshin refused to create enough QOL changes since they didn't have any competition and then WuWA came along. I feel like it's a similar case with LADS. Perhaps LADS also needs some much needed strong competition (I know other otome games exist but we know LADS hits differently for all sorts of reasons) to finally do better.

I've personally known that this company is greedy af for a long time, as a veteran love nikki player who spent a considerable amount of money. A while back, I don't recall any timeframes, there was a little bit of an uproar in the English/global love nikki fandom because they were only pushing out the types of events that cost diamonds (ingame currency) or real life money with barely any events that costed only stanima or gold (which is basically a free event in ln), to the point where the English server caught up with the Chinese server's paid events (which keep in mind the Chinese server was 2 years ahead in the beginning) meanwhile the Chinese server was getting a bunch of the stamina events. So yeah, when I started playing love deepspace, deep down I never really expected to get a lot of free stuff either and unfortunately it really did turn out to be quite the stingy game.

As for prioritizing profit over content, I just don't feel that is something infold would do intentionally, of course I could be completely wrong. But after seeing an interview with some of the production "uppers", it just didn't feel like that sort of people. Then again... When money start pouring in, it sometimes changes people. However I feel Sylus indeed is getting treated quite unfairly compared to the rest. He is new, yes but the others came out with cards that Sylus never received. I swear, the biggest outright lie they put in is the gacha's fault. There are so many gacha games that even with paid or limited content, they allow players to safely jump through all the banners. Like ok, they don't maximize the character or the radius whatsoever, but they manage to achieve your objective. And usually these games provide a good way to farm for the jump (mostly diamonds), but I'll be honest, as a former Shining Nikki player, the company is just disgusting. I agree. This all totally makes sense because fans (myself included) are angry that they are missing out on some of Sylus's content. I am missing one of his Myth cards (which I hope can have a rerun in the future) and will most likely miss out on most of the cards for Nightly Rendezvous. We save up, they give us freebies, and we save some more just for those resources to go out the window when we don't pull a Limited 5-Star Memory, which has happened to me twice in the past 2 events, and both times was the same non-selected, non-limited Xavier card. I love this game, but I cannot spend my money for it all for the sake of cooperate greed outside of the Aurumn Pass. I have sent game feedback to them 2-3 separate times expressing my concerns over fairness of the Wish System, but 1 voice is not enough to make a change. This information needs to spread so all LAD players are aware of what's going on.

Content after that is fine like limited cards etc. But the quantity of 3 star memories & four stars, bond moments, and anecdotes should be the same. That's base content and that's what CN is fighting for. Limited memories don't count and I think most people don't understand that.

As for Sylus, he is not an OG love interest and therefore it's clear he hasn't as much conent available. Nevertheless he has the same amount of standard 5 star cards so to me it's pretty fair. Would I love more anecdotes and bound storys? Yes! But who says it won't be released in the future? Do honestly everyone should chill out a lil and enjoy the game

Yes he is lacking content but because of that, when ur a sylus main, u end up spending more money to try to pull for his cards in the standard banner. More ppl have done research on this and even analyzed their pulls on limited and standard banners but the fact remains that Sylus and looks like Caleb will be more expensive to invest in as opposed to the original 3. This is a gacha but currently only lads has this kind of issue where players need to spend more to get new LI's and if this isnt fixed itll be futher abused by papergames and future otome gacha companies. Its better to nip it in the butt before it because the new standard.

It sucks hearing about this :/ I play both LAD and Infinity Nikki (and I've played also another Paper game in the past) their games get so many money, they should not do this The with certain amount of money to get a card, I think it also happened with MLQC (another Paper game) - not right away but after they got a lot of money. Shinning Nikki also had this, they were tiers and we could get special suits (pieces with each level) - I think to complete everything was something like 20 000 dollars

Unfortunately, this is a recurring theme for majority of otome games (whether CN or JP) for past decade. The more sellable characters are gatekept and then the companies will focus on where money goes to, causing some games be dropped in the end. If things dont end well for LADS... well tbh is not the first game i lost (coz devs stopped producing content) due to greedy devs.

@meliestyle5828 i can understand that perspective from someone who is a low spender or f2p but for a game that does rake in even more than genshin at this point, they could have at least given new love interests the same amount of base content as the other guys upon release. Its not like the 3 star memories give us any additional voiced experiences. It wouldnt have been that hard. Actually it would have given us a little more to work with in the battle grounds. As for the bond and the anecdote... wouldn't that have been nice to have for sylus during his debut? And now Caleb is getting the same treatment. Also the free rewards given are barely a blip to someone who spends frequently in the game. I actually make a different video on this topic. If youd like, you can totally check it out. I'm new to the game (been in it for like 10 days) and I never play these sort of games. It's quite obvious to me that this game is designed to keep the player hooked like a gambling game. It's counterintuitive, weird, too many things to click on that are not the actual game, the long dialogues in the game with just a picture as a background are very boring and long - the player actually wants the cinematographic bits, that are very few and short in comparison, etc. It's also very chaotic (I was just able to go on a mission with one of the boys as if we were close friends already, then another part of the game takes me to where we just met...). This is not a player-friendly game. And that includes how they want to take money from the people who play the game. I think misogyny is a reason for it (the game is targeted at women).

Thing I don't understand with everyone complaining about Sylus lacking content. He hasn't been out as long as everyone one else so it makes sense why he doesn't have as much content. Wanting to have the same amount of card as everyone else right now is not living in reality when it comes to understanding game content creation and review to eventual release. As well as they are telling a story, wait patiently for your content. That's what I thought at first, but the video actually goes into the fact that the insider revealed that the planning team is intentionally using scummy business tactics that are anti-consumer. They want to pay wall all of the Sylus cards the players would've originally been given either for free or through the standard banner. The insider also revealed that the planning team and CEO wants to stop creating new and ambitious content for LADS and instead treat it like Hoyo treats Genshin Impact. They want LADS to be as predatory as possible with as little content and expenses as possible so they can use the money to fund other passion projects that the guys behind Infold actually want to make. This could be referring to that new fantasy Souls-like Sekiro-like game they revealed some time ago last year. This is absolutely a problem. They pretty much have decided to be extremely scummy and treat all of the paying players like pay-pigs. They are being extremely disrespectful. Upon this information trending in CN, that's what caused the lawsuit. Sylus is only a starting point. The idea is to combat scummy practices and earn respect for players and a return on the investments people have made towards the game.

I think we should focus on what is the cause of the problem. Like Infold is trying to make much money from Sylus and it's unfair to the Sylus girlies and even when his content is much less than others LI. wow, that’s your takeaway from all of this, seriously? although all of this could just be rumors and we should take it with a grain of salt, we should be sticking together against papergames and their greedy practices more than anything. if you’re going to pick caleb you should think about how him being one year late to the game will affect his content as well. if it’s already this bad for sylus’ content i don’t even want to imagine how it’ll be for caleb. maybe then you will understand the frustration of sylus fans over the fact that half a year later he’s still missing standard base content and they’re going to try to put as much of his missing content behind a paywall. this is not about asking for more than the others have or for sylus to catch up to the others, it’s about him having less than half of standard base content half a year into his release than the others had AT LAUNCH. it’s unfair and it’s frustrating hence why we should be sticking together because if there’s any truth to this, this could affect all the LIs in the future, not just sylus. if you want to project your hatred for sylus fans onto his character, sure go ahead. however 6 months from now when caleb is still missing standard base content and they try to make you pay for content they gave for free to the others, don’t say we didn’t warn you.

The thing is that if they're doing this to Sylus now (if the rumors are true), they can and will do the same thing to the other love interests. And the complaints will spread. I imagine that Caleb girlies will be just as upset and up in arms if the company releases him with as little content as they did Sylus and then proceeds to stick the rest behind limited events and paywalls. The common enemy here is corporate greed, not fans who just want to be treated fairly. I'm not saying that some fans don't fight or act inappropriately, but that's not the root of the issue.
