I ended up with two cat carriers in the end. The only way I could get my cat into one for the vets was by having one behind him whilst trying to get him to go into the one in front. Inevitably he always reversed into the carrier behind him.

If she were my old cat she would have eaten the bee. That only happened once that I know of. She was ok but had to go to the vet and spend some time in the oxygen tent 🙀

They *are* clever. Have you seen Todd the Cat's videos? Give them a sound board that lets them speak like us and they can communicate with us. One video says it takes Todd about 30 seconds to think of a word, but he does get his communications across and displaying dexterity with back paw presses as he walks over the button. With a bit of training, dogs can communicate as well.
