Couldn't agree more that this is an "app store" moment. Much of what we do on the computer is either 1) searching for information and making a decision, or 2) learning to operate a new toolset in pursuit of a goal. If we only have to describe the task to a personal assistant, and guide it at certain points along the way - it basically removes tons of those intermediate steps. Much of the tech world is about 'push' content (e.g. news feeds, notifications) - but soon it'll be a 'pull' style - where you just tell the PA what you want and most likely it'll cut through the noise for you. So many crazy implications, it's honestly hard to decide if this is exciting or scary, lol.

There are different takes on this. In the short run I don’t think so. In the long run, possibly. Right now I feel like it’s the best time ever to be a developer. I’m not scared of becoming irrelevant, I’m more excited about getting a 10x productivity upgrade that helps me build things. Coding is a lot of fun recently. It‘s why I didn‘t do a video for a few weeks.

To some degree yes, but I you want 100% no code, (I.e code with natural language) make a GPTS right now they’re quite limited compared to plugins, but they’ll continue to get better and better until it eventually replaces plugins.
