What we need is a ministery for futurism in every countries to anticipate instead of react. I've been looking into the subject of the singularity for 15 years due to my unpublished novel writing and I can say without a doubt that while I prepared for it most people never did and will be facing a severe crisis when the way they are valuing themselves, through the size of their paycheck end up not mattering anymore. I expect a lot of violence stemming just from that.
