Why Childish Gambino HATES Drake (Documentary)

After the massive beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, Metro Boomin, Future, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, (maybe) Travis Scott, Rick Ross, Soulja Boy and more, it seemed like Drake might finally get a break from all the rappers disses for just a bit.
But that thought was wrong as Childish Gambino recently had a diss for Drake on his new album, and their beef actually dates back several years.
In this video, we will unpack the entire relationship between Drake and Childish Gambino, all the dissing that occurred (even the almost disses like Donald Glover's hit song 'This Is America' or the potential disses in his hit TV series 'Atlanta), and why the two probably do not like each other.

I mean his child has a mother. He’s not single handedly naming his kid. Who seemingly has nothing to do w this hip hop shit. Maybe she just liked the name. I don’t think he named his son Drake in any way to reference the rapper. I really like the name Della. If I had a friend or enemy named Della and my wife and I liked the name Della, that won’t stop me from naming my child what I want. CG seemingly isn’t the type of dude to weird name a whole human after someone he doesn’t even like that much.

You missed a critical point with the "HAM" dis. In the Bible, Ham was considered to be the father of the Black race, hence the term "Hamites" or "Hamitic", while Shem was the father of the Semitic race. Jews are Semites. But also consider that Kendrick Lamar identifies as an Israelite.

It's been said but it really drove me nuts black and African American are not interchangeable. Drake is Canadian. Black and Jewish Canadian. While African American sounds like it's used as a politically correct term for black, it's not, and only makes sense to use in reference to black people from the United States. I wouldn't really drive this point hard normally, but it's a crucial part of people's issues with Drake

I think this beef started again, over a woman. Remember, Childish Gambino was working with / possibly dating Jhene Aiko before Drake started to work/ date her too. I think a lot of people forget that pretty much at the root of every Drake beef, he must either take the other's artists girl in a snake way or do some dumb shit that people don't forget. I'm just saying though...

Not all black ppl are African American…there’s black people in America that aren’t Af.Am. It’s okay to say the word black, idk some ppl act like it’s a bad word and try to use Af.Am and then say mess like Drake is African Am. If you’re not sure, just say black. I promise - most black ppl love being black - you’re not being “polite” using Af.Am as a catch-all.

His dad is American, I think that's what they were trying to convey 🤔 Americans say black when referring to African Americans, so do Brits. Sometimes it's necessary to clarify the country too I guess 😂
