Unveiling the Beauty Gap: Why Chinese Cities are so beautiful & Shine, While India Struggles?
In this thought-provoking video, we delve into the intriguing question of why Chinese cities and infrastructure are often hailed for their exceptional beauty and efficiency, while India faces challenges in achieving the same level of aesthetic allure.
Join us on an in-depth exploration as we analyze the factors that contribute to the stark contrast between Chinese urban landscapes and those found in India. Delving into historical, cultural, and economic aspects, we aim to shed light on the reasons behind this disparity.
We begin by unraveling China's remarkable urban development and visionary city planning. Witness the breathtaking skylines of Shanghai and the perfect harmony achieved between modern architectural wonders and the country's rich cultural heritage. From meticulously designed parks and public spaces to efficient transport systems, we uncover the elements that make Chinese cities so aesthetically pleasing and impressive.
In contrast, we navigate through various Indian cities and discuss the challenges they face in infrastructure development. From the overcrowded streets of Delhi to the insufficient waste management systems in some areas, we explore the hurdles that impede India's progress towards creating visually captivating urban spaces.
Throughout this video, we maintain an objective and analytical approach, focusing on the underlying factors driving the differences between China and India in terms of urban planning, governance, and economic considerations. Our aim is to foster a constructive dialogue surrounding urban development and potentially uncover strategies that could bridge the beauty gap that exists between these two countries.
*Please note that the purpose of this video is to encourage discussion and understanding, rather than perpetuate stereotypes or pass judgment. We value the diverse perspectives and experiences of both countries, and believe that productive dialogue can lead to positive change.
As we conclude our captivating investigation, we encourage viewers to share their thoughts, ideas, and opinions in the comments section below. Together, let us explore possibilities for a more beautiful and sustainable future in both Chinese and Indian cities.
Don't forget to like, subscribe, and share this thought-provoking exploration of the contrasting urban landscapes of China and India!

In India land laws are very outdated. 20 yeats back Mukesh Ambani wanted to make an SEZ in the barren lands of coastal Raigadh district of Maharashtra, but he was so harassed by the land owners and local politicians that he gave up the idea. Indian Bullet Train project is facing delays because of Land Acquisition disputes 😎

What India needs to do is focus on its own development, rather than comparing itself with other countries. China has also followed this approach, setting its own goals and plans, which is a key advantage of the CCP.Most political parties in democratic countries tend to focus on their own electoral prospects.

Mr. Sumeet the basic difference between Indian way of thinking as compared to the Chinese is that Indians firmly believe in the 3rd Law of Thermodynamics !! That is in the universe , chaos always increases . You clean up one area, and a corresponding area becomes chaotic!! So Indians will always make sure chaos exists. !! They will be personally clean but throw the garbage into the street to make sure a corresponding chaos exists!!!😂

All infrastructure and city construction are related to money. The Chinese government is much richer than the Indian government. The Chinese government's fiscal revenue is 10 times that of India. However, India, which has a population of 14 and a GDP of more than 3 trillion US dollars, has a fiscal revenue similar to South Korea, which has a population of only 50 million and a GDP of only 1.9 trillion US dollars. Only when the government has money can it build more and better public facilities,

Problem is people's mentality also. People don't have even basic hygiene & cleanliness habits, and they treat public property like trash with no care. Truth is India will change and become better when the old people and middle age one's will die off. Old habits die hard, and a person who shat their entire life in open and spits gutkha on public places for 20-30 years cannot change. These people will die off and younger generations who shit in toilets and don't consume gutkha will reduce this mess. Over successive generation habits and hygiene will improve.

Jai jinendra sir. Watching your video for the first time. Vaise mai bhi jain hoo. Sir, im turned 18 now and i got introduced about infrastructure and stuff 2,3 years back since then there was not a day when i didn't think of my country and its progress. Sometimes i cant even sleep by thinking of india's infrastructure and economics progress. I'm heavily obsessed with china and its humongous infrastructure construction, its supermodern cities as both india and china got independence nearly 75 years back and both have same population. in case of india ,in think bjp pm modi have done very good work, but still i feel that india's upcoming Greenfield smart cities like gift city ,dholera city are not that well planned , whereas chinese cities are excellently planned, having extremely wider clean black roads , with perfect lane markings. its my dream to see india crosses world in term of economy ,infrastructure. surely i will do something very big in future to meet my dream true. thank you, i hope you will reply me, it will reduce burden on my head of the nation's progress🥲

Very good observation. The issue with India is workmenship, planning and execution are not in one line . different departments are involved and nobody works together. But in China this is different, here planning and execution is all done under one roof. Plus planning is done in advance so that same work dosent need to be done again and again. The whole system of governance needs to be changed in India. Who will do it? I am coming in September and I have fixed a meeting with Nitin GADKARI and will discuss a lot of things. I deliberately fixed dinner meeting so that I get 1 hour with him.

American surburbs are the worst and notbing to aspire to. European cities, japan etc are something we should take insipiration from for our cities. I have lived in the US - surburbs isolate people, makes you heavily car dependent, seprate you from markets, commercial places ans amenities such as shops, schools and universities - mixed zoning, city planning for the type of architecture that works for the land and public transit, green spaces, clean streets, cultural spaces such as temples, water bodies etc will make a city timeless. Exampel Udaypur is so beautiful coz of ita timeless architecture. Rome ans italy coz of their beaufiful cethedrals, netherlands coz eveything is accessible withing reach , public transit is amazing. And beautiful atchotecture. Not everything has to be soulless skyscrapers that looks the same in every city so everything looks the same and boring. It has its place in ceryain planned zones but we need to focus on maintanancd, municipality and proper city planning.

American suburbs are heaven. just because there are westerns who hate the idea of suburbs doesn't mean it sucks. a rundown suburb in the US is 100 times better to live in, more pleasant to look at, way more organized and facilitated. cope

Its because India manage to kick out the British out of the country however thanks to Gandhi India did not kicked out their ruling elites contrary to the Chinese that had Mao Zedong revolution and got rid of their ruling class this made the difference. India is far behind China however India is catching up have lots of potential and is part of the BRICS however in order to prosper it is important to get rid of imperialist U.S and E.U first.

China ek democratic country nahi hey, as a democratic country we are accountable to everyone and everything. If a law is passed regarding a project it is not questioned, see what happened to bullet train project. See we need to respect what china has done but it is also important as a journo for you to understand these concepts too. What is the penalty for littering in china, spitting and defecation in public. I was hearing to cycle baba how in a small strip of area there were nearly 50 cctvs, imagine such a thing in India, a PIL is all it takes to put them in shelf.

In China, CCP owns all the lands. No one can buy land in China. People can file a case, but have to vacate anyway within a stipulated time. (Its more of a Eye wash) So its eazy to plan and construct quickly. Take for example NHAI Roads. Biggest obstacle is to acquire land. Land acquisition itself takes years. If one person puts a case, it hangs in civil court for years. Moreover we have multi-party political system, so all dirty politics comes into play. Corruption is one major factor too, One flyover in a city takes 6-10 years. Take Metro's in India. Metro in Bengaluru started in 2007. Its now 16 years and its not even half done !!! imagine the chaos on roads due to construction caused to commuters for so many years. In china too there is corruption, but you just bribe the highest guy, and rest is taken care. In India Corruption goes to so many layers and departments. It is very essential that there should be a independent city planning department for all major cities. Else Urban cities are losing its charm.
