Magnite is very quick. I have driven both but old version of baleno. My vote is for magnite

Baleno has ESC & in my opinion, Baleno is still a better choice than Magnite for most people, I hope you will cover its advantages over Magnite soon in the upcoming short. 👍🏻

I own a magnite non turbo. Yes the engine is noisy and struggles at hills. But its subejctive. Both of these factors bother me less. There is no compromise on the level of engineering. I have'd no practical issues with this. Awesome mileage. No compro on safety and the braking is too much powerful. At 8.44 lacs for XV model, it was a damn good VFM car for me. But if you compare the engines of baleno and magnite, baleno wins. Any day.

20kmpl with driving on both city and highway. Only highway sedate driving may fetch you 24+ as well. In city, it hovers between the 15-18kmpl depending upon how dense the traffic is.

@@motorinc 1st checkup at 2000 kms was just okay. They just inspected and nothing notable was done. At 1st service at 10,000kms., again, they just changed oil and oil filter, air filter, greasing of brake plus I got to pay a few unnecessary extra bucks for pest spray etc. which I do not recommend. I bought their silver plan or something at 1st service which helped me financially a lot as during the second service I paid very less amount. The work and experience at 2nd service was just great. They changed the ac filter, engine oil and oil filter, air filter, throttle body cleaning, brake greasing and a couple of nuts and bolts tightening. And Man, I love the car even more now.

The NA engine is super under powered.. observed AC cooling issue...cabin was not cooled even after 15 minutes of ride. haven't driven the turbo one...will update once I test drive that

In his soothing voice he simply omitted the fact that Baleno has a 4 cylinder 1197cc engine where as magnite uses a 3 cylinder 999cc engine. The debate ends there dude.

The 3cyl NA version in Nissan is pathetic. No other word to describe it. I test drove it before I got my glanza. Sadly turbo petrol was out of reach for me but still it wouldn't match what milage I get in my glanza! Also not to forget the refinement as well😊

@@jackselwyn9353we have a pre facelift Magnite XL in the family and the sheet metal is a lot better than the Baleno but keep in mind that there are quite a few fit finish issues and the headliner on the inside feels very cheap! But if you want better outer sheet metal, Magnite is your pick

@@annoyingbluetomatowholikescars nissan cvt have bad reputation of unreliability especially in north america. Magnite turbo may use cvt from versa. That cvt is good for naturally aspirated under 80hp cars but not a 100hp car.

@@Deepak__Mehta not true. I have the 2022 Baleno and it returns me an average of 10-12 kmpl IRL after 2 years of usage. Initially it was a lot higher, even got it checked at the SC and they don't have a solution for it.

Alpha varient in baleno has decent interior. The one you're showcasing is Delta with the top end of model of magnite, which is just above base varient and has matte plastic, whereas the top end has gloss finishes, bigger display altogether.
