Does anyone know if I am switching from Tifway 2 Hybrid Bermuda (only a year old) to TifTuf Bermuda do I need to kill all of the roots of the Tifway when I remove the grass with a sod cutter or will removing the grass with a sod cutter 2inches down do the trick and I am safe to just place the TifTuf on top after I place some new soil after removal?

How deep did you set the turf cutter? What height was the kik when you turf cut?

Gday Ryan. the kik would have been around the 30mm HOC mark. and I went deep with the turf cutter 75mm. trying too get all those rhysomes.

@@thegreenandgoldlife1464 Im doing something similar with my kik in a few weeks (150m2 ) But i plan to relay once my levels are dropped down with fall towards the house. I was hoping to only go about 40mm deep with the turf cutter, then a machine to pile the topsoil, remove clay base, re spread the topsoil and ill relay the turf.
