We recommend checking out the A2000 SC DW5-SS (11.5”). Our Showcase models are made with smaller hand openings, finger slots, and SuperSkin to keep them light, durable, and fitting just the way you need them to. Also, we recommend the A2000 EL3 (11.75”) or the A2000 DW5 (12”). Both are game models for Evan Longoria and David Wright and will serve you well in the hot corner but are made for adults. Get to the store and check them out first to see what fits you best!

The A2K B2 does not come with a Pro Sleeve, but we have heard the request to add a Pro Sleeve option to the custom glove site and are currently exploring that. You may be able to find an older (2009) A2K that features the Pro-Sleeve technology from an online retailer, try doing a few searches and see what you come up with!

Hi Derek, we would recommend a Showcase A2000 for you. If you can wait until August, we have a new glove line coming out that might be perfect for you. It will feature a Pedroia fit which is very similar to the Showcase A2000s.

@proshortstop9 We use the same article of leather at both factory locations. However, if you have a glove that is “personalized” with your name - personalization happens at our Japan plant.

The A2000 is made with Pro Stock leather and will have a regular palm-pad in it. The A2K is made with Pro Stock Select (Top 5%) leather and has an extra palm-pad added in.

It all depends on your preferences (size, web, color). First, decide if you'd like more padding in the glove (A2K has an extra palm pad), then check out the models below. Our popular MI models are the 1788 (11.25"), the 1786 (11.5"), the G4 (11.5")and the DP15GM (11.5" - smaller hand opening, less padding, extra-long laces). Wilson! I'm no Minor Leaguer or collegiate player, but I have a suggestion! When customizing a glove I really think it would be a great option to be able to put the Pro Sleeve on the middle finger for those of us pitchers who like to go two in the pinky and still have the luxury of going finger out without tipping any of our pitches. I bought the DP15 A2000 for infield and I love it! I want an affordable yet reliable outfield glove for when I'm in right field. Is the Wilson Pro soft yak something that I can expect to last the 25 game season?

Use a LITTLE Pro Stock Glove Conditioner on the inside of the glove. The leather should soak the conditioner up, and that’s what you want it to do.

This is in no way a shot at Wilson, because I’m sure any glove company can agree on this: at the end of the day, it’s what you want and what you prefer. For example most people say the lamb fur in most gloves is far less superior than what Wilson offers instead. I personally like the fur in comparison, and I am more of a Rawlings user myself because I prefer it.
