I agree with this video. Chris Redfield is the most tragic character comparison to other heroes. He lost so many of his men under his command and blames himself for it; wishing he could've done something to prevent those losses. Piers was a great replacement for Chris in Re6, but making that promise to him that he will keep fighting, truly shows Chris' power. I feel that when the last game happens, Chris would make that noble sacrifice. At this point, his story arc is now fully completed imo.

Chris has experienced the most loss for sure. He even looks almost numb when Ethan dies. And imagine how much of a trip it must have been when he thought Jill died.

In the moment he seemed defeated, he realized he failed again and it’s too late to do anything, such a powerful moment. His grief for Jill must’ve been insane, wish they had explored it more.

I remember being worried because of the rumor that was circling before the release of Re8 that Chris was gonna be killed off, i thought if Capcom gonna kill him in Re8 i will stop playing resident evil forever but thankfully he was not killed 😅 . Jill is definitely way more tragic character on account of being literally tortured the most, both physically and mentally! Jill also has no mother or siblings, her father is in prison, and she is SURPRISINGLY single!

The new Jill or the old Jill? The new Jill is DEI influenced: she’s bratty, rude and arrogant; she does‘t need a man to save her. Typical feminist stereotype in the West. The old Jill that we used to was very feminine but still exhibited strong qualities of intelligence, courage and kindness. I prefer the old Jill who had more chemistry with Chris while the new Jill is a lone wolf, almost is like a lesbian who doesn’t work well with men.
